Great Texmex food. Went for breakfast tacos in the morning. They had fresh made flour tortillas and mitad y mitad tortillas. Takes a little longer than most taco stands but they prepare most of their food fresh to order where most taco stands I have seen in the area use a lot of canned and bottled food, and lots of reheating. I ordered to go but even the. The service was very friendly and accommodating to special requests. Another plus is that they open very early. Will visit again for breakfast tacos next time I am in Austin.
From the outside the restaurant may not look appealing. However, the sheer quantity of cars, nearly all the tables filled and the food quality dispel initial perceptions. The tacos, al pastor, barbacoa and nopales, were delicious. The fresh, green salsa had a nice kick and tremendous flavor. Fabulous spot if in the area
There are lots of options at this airport and some tend to be very busy. this place wasn't very busy, but service was great and food was delicious.
If you drove past Taqueria Morelos and there weren’t any cars in the parking lot, you may not stop at this building. It’s small, old, one sign is broken in half and the other is faded by the Texas sun. This is the thing- you will NEVER drive by this restaurant and not see any cars in the parking lot because it’s that good! When you finally get to eat one of their perfect tacos, you will wake up the next morning craving another! The guacamole is spot on, the salsa addicting and the queso a smoky perfection. Say hello to Wolf!
A little hole in the wall joint with great food and service. Make sure to have the chips and salsa! Highly recommended.
This restaurant is the definition of a hole in the wall, which to me is the best kind of place to find great food. This place did not disappoint. Through the front door you can see the runway of the Austin airport, so very convenient if trying to grab a bite before a flight which is what we were doing. Large menu of classic Mexican dishes, of which my 2 friends and I opted for breakfast foods. Breakfast burrito was delicious and absolutely huge, and my buddies thoroughly enjoyed the huevos rancheros and pork chop dishes that they ordered. Staff was very friendly and helpful with picking out food to order. Very easy to pass this place by but I recommend that you not.
Great local breakfast joint. I stop here often on the way to work. Authentic mexican food served here and it is all good. They have great lunch specials that sre original and provide variety. Do not pass this up if you are out on 183 by the airport.
Authentic delicious Mexican food ... made fresh to order. Extra - thin crispy chips, delicious salsa. Generous servings.
You would likely never stop here unless someone told you how good it was. I'm that guy! You need to go here. The chips are made fresh when you order them and when they come out, you are warned that they may be hot. That's how fresh they are. The salsa is so good, two of us ate 3 bowls and didn't leave a drop or a crumb of a chip. It's truly so good I was eating it on a fork because we were out of chips. The enchilada and taco were very good! The gordita had a corn tortilla that was too thick for me. It looked amazing, but the tortilla was drowning out the other favors. Come here and enjoy some great Mexican food.

Stopped here for lunch after our flight. best chips ever. Hot from the fryer. Salsa was fresh and tasty. Had lemonade but would have preferred a Margarita. No liquor served
I was staying with a friend who lives in the area and we came for breakfast tacos. They were delicious and the service was very quick. They also had "flavored" waters which were large jugs of water fused with different fruits and they were also fantastic. I'll probably go here again.
I've been traveling to Austin for years. Whenever I get a chance, I eat here. They are not open for dinner. They serve early breakfast and stay open only until just after lunch. The building and atmosphere is unremarkable. It's over around on the other side of the airport. But, don't let that deter you. The best local places cater to locals. You'll see coveralls, laborers, cops, hard hats, etc. Perfect. It's all about the food. The menu is simple, inexpensive, and most of all good.
I'm one of the tens...maybe hundreds of thousands of Eurotrash who went to the Formula 1 Grand Prix race in Austin recently. My traveling companion...fiancee... (who had never before been to an F1 event) needs regular feeding. We got to the track area before breakfast and decided we needed to eat before going in (just in case...). I did the male thing and drove around for a while, finding nothing,...then she did the female thing and demanded I stop for directions... So we found a cop eating donuts in his patrol car and asked him. He thought for a few seconds and recommended Morelo's...up the street...a mile or three.... The place looks very...er..."average". Don't be fooled. STOP! EAT! LOVE! She had Huevos Rancheros. I had Migas. We fought over each others food. The place is full of local guys. Fabulous. We loved it.
