I ordered my food to go with a group of people. They brought the food out and I pointed out I ordered to go and I asked for a real to go oder they put it in box and lied and said they remade it. Then I watched the manager after they repack the same order walk over to me a lot to my face and say that they remade it. That's why this review is like this. I attach receipt so that you know that the review is real save your money go somewhere else.

This rating pertains to the Sugar Land location.The waiitstaff was not connected, we sat for mor3 than 5 mi minutes before someone came by. We were near the bar area in a booth. The soul food platter was misleading. The smothered chicken is actually, deep fried chicken covered with brown gravy...My view is the staff is young and lack experience l, including the manager. Service 1st to include establishing a customer friendly and interactive report.

My friend and I came here for brunch after church, expecting a relaxing meal, but it turned into the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever received. We’ve come here many times before but we will NEVER be returning.
We arrived around 3:00 pm and were told the wait would be 30 minutes. We ended up waiting over an hour just to be seated, and were placed at the bar. We were then told that we had specifically asked for bar seating, which we absolutely did not. After speaking to the host, we were able to switch, but still had to wait another 10 minutes. By the time we were actually seated at a table, it had already been about an hour and a half since we arrived.
We ordered our food around 4:45 pm and didn’t receive it until 6:00 pm. That’s over an hour wait for food after already waiting so long to be seated. When the food finally came out, it was cold and clearly had been placed under a warmer.
I hope management takes steps to improve organization and food quality, because this was not acceptable at all and we’ve never had an experience like this.

I had my wedding reception here and the service that Akila (our server) provided was AMAZING! We had 14 people for our guest and Akila was ON IT!!! She handle our wedding party with such professionalism and kindness that we were blown away! Thank you again Akila!! The food was amazing as well but amazing service can’t be beat!

Viral facebook post going around. Someone called to reserve a reservation and was told they had to pay $150 deposit before to hold the reservation like what? Please check your employee’s that is highly unacceptable. Sounds like they are trying to pocket the money and hustling on the company time.

I’ve ate here three times, twice in person and had a great experience both times and then once ordering through DoorDash which was the most recent. My DoorDash experience is the reason for my lower review as I spent $70 on my order and added fruity pebbles to my waffles which was a $2+ add-on and only got a pinch, and no additional toppings like sugar, and only received one little cup of syrup that was about half the size of the cup they give you in person.

Went at like 10am and the music was crazy loud for some reason. We were up stairs and the service was a bit slow too. The biscuit waffle was extremely good, the cornbread one was nothing special, just tasted like standard cornbread.
