Came here as our unusal go to Chinese restaurants were busy and I wanted Asian without going all the way to Bellaire. Spotted this recommendation via Google and glad I stop by. The restaurant is tuck in a strip mall and it's more Cantonese Chinese cuisine. The menu is pretty extensive. They had a lot of noodles dishes that hopefully I will be able to try next time. The cup of tea I ordered was huge. I only managed to finish it half way. The food itself is very good. It's not salty and the flavor are subtle. My kiddos really enjoyed it and they are more picky eaters. Definitely will be coming back to try other items on their menu.
We have been eyeing this place for weeks since it opened. We finally ordered takeout for dinner today. We got the beef tenderloin with black pepper sauce and half of a roasted duck.Everything was good except the duck does have an odor.Would recommend!
Delightful lunch in a clean and comfortable restaurant with friendly service. Had the crispy duck lunch plate, dry beef noodles (both pictured) and a side of honey roasted pork belly. Each morning’s freshly roasted meats are hanging in a window with a view of an exceptionally clean and organized kitchen. Treat yourself! Closed on Tuesdays
Ample parking space outside. The plaza is large! What a lovely new Cantonese restaurant. Their restaurant is so clean and well designed. I was promptly seated by the waitress and I decided to be brave and order the Five Spices Pig Ears & the Traditional Bao which has mushrooms in it.The restroom is very clean and well maintained. I washed my hands in there before returning to wait for my food. She prepared my table while I was away and brought me iced water. I'm not sure if they have other options for drinks. My food came out very quickly. The pig ears came with chili sauce and a garlic vinegar sauce that I loved so much. They also served it with a bowl of hot white rice. It paired well with the dark sauce of the pig ears. Great texture. Chewy but delicious. The bai was so soft and had yummy meat and veggies as well as mushrooms inside of it. Super filling. I could've just ordered the 6 piece bao and been satisfied.I would recommend this place and would return again to try other dishes on the menu.
We went for dinner yesterday and it was delightful. The duck, chicken wings and dumplings were OMG. Service was great and prices are very fair. I highly recommend it.
If you are craving for Cantonese food and by Texas Medical Center, this is the place to be. Service is great, food are authentic and flavorful,Cantonese style! A place I can go if I don’t feel like going to Bellaire Chinatown area.
This is a very lovely and warm place to eat. Feels very homey and comfy. The Servers were very kind and made you feel very welcome. It was my first time there with my friend and the Server helped us out a lot with what comes with the dishes we wanted. Made sure everything was good for us.
Truly excellent Chinese food. This is a wonderful place, the food is nothing short of excellent, and the service is very good. The dining area is small and well appointed and a very pleasant atmosphere to sit and enjoy your food. Each dish we ordered was really great, perfectly seasoned and prepared. The Peking duck was superb and one of the best we've had. We look forward to returning to try some of the other dishes. Totally awesome, highly recommended.
We had such a great experience here! We are vegetarian so we were hesitant because we thought there wouldn’t be much options, but there were a lot and everything was so tasty! The staff was so sweet and helped us out as much as possible. We had a really good experience and would definitely visit again. Check this place out, you won’t regret it!
Good food, nice place for lunch and they have very traditional cantonese food too. I will absolutely come back and try the Peking duck next time.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Ordered Beef Dry He Fun. It tastes fresh and authentic just like what we eat in China. I will come back for more.
My family and I came here for lunch right when they opened. They were a little slow to grab our order and seemed a little unorganized. Once we placed our order they finally got into a groove. We ordered the egg rolls, wonton noodle soup, shrimp fried rice, dry fried green beans, and this eggplant/beef dish. Everything had very good flavorful and wasn’t overly greasy. The eggplant/beef dish was very good. The beef was super tender.
My new favorite place to get Peking duck (片皮鸭)! The duck meat is soft and fragrant, and pairs nicely with the rice wraps and warm duck soup. Great service and delicious food. Always love to see new Chinese restaurants in Houston, and this one is phenomenal!11 ducks out of 10 ?? would eat here again!
So the hubby and I just had dinner here for the first time. Let me just tell you, the food was simply delicious. We had Salt and pepper shrimp, Dry fried green (which I will order every time we eat here) and Chicken with mushroom in a pot. We loved the ambience, the cleanliness and the decor. Our waitress was Fiona and she was very professional, efficient and patient, and just over all very pleasant, she answered all of my questions, including, the ones concerning what the other customers were eating!?I’ve eaten here very often in the past when Jimmy Wok was at this location, and never would I compare the two, because there not the same types of food.I will say this, Taste of Spice Rocks!!!
Ordered half of the roasted duck. The portion is kind of small comparing with other Cantonese bbq place. The flavor is just okay. The real reason that I gave three stars is the skin is not processed well and there still are fur on it!!! May not go again even the location is so convenient.
