Went with my wife for our anniversary it is a small restaurant with only seating for maybe 20 people. The service and staff were wonderful. The food was also outstanding until we got to the dessert it was way too salty I love salt and am one of those people that use the salt shaker on most things but this was overdone so much so that my wife did not eat it and that is her favorite part of the meal.
Outstanding experience at Tatemó! Authentic Mexican flavors presented at a Michelin level. Each course was creative and delicious (only small miss was the wagyu, a bit overcooked). The tasting menu is $155 per person with prepaid online reservation, and worth every dollar. BYOB
Don’t get me wrong, the food was excellent, but simply not worth the upfront $250 pp required (including tax and gratuity). And here is why: 1) the service for a Michelin / upscale restaurant was bizarrely cold and unfriendly, and 2) there should have been at least another course or 2… we were still hungry after dinner. There were other disappointments such as a corking fee - the fact that they chose to locate next door to a church so can’t serve liquor is already weird...
