A hidden secret-what some may call a “hole in the wall” cafe, with surroundings that are raw, but be certain you will be safe! Being a native Houstonian by 4 gen, I had never known of this cafe. Several yrs ago my SNL introduced it to me & I’ve loved it. Plus yesterday, brother and i had breakfast but i was insanely surprised by the dessert items that hit the sweet spot of its “almond” pastries. Best breakfast get there early before the long lines form. Love the pancakes! Service was great. I ordered the spinach Swiss omelette and hashbrowns. Make sure you get the homemade biscuits.
