I live about five minutes away from this place and can’t believe I hadn’t tried it until now. The photos on Yelp are what convinced me to give it a shot, and they did not disappoint. When I walked in, the restaurant was super clean and the gentleman at the register was really friendly.
I ordered the beef soba, chicken soba, and the fried shrimp rice—everything looked amazing, smelled even better, and tasted incredible. Truly a hidden gem in the area. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their dishes!

The owners are nice. It’s amazing when it’s fresh, but today’s was clearly refried at least a few times and didn’t taste fresh.
The atmosphere is still really dark inside and I wish they would repaint the place.
I learned today they have a website. Ordering there or over the phone if you’re going to pick up is $2 cheaper than using Uber Eats or DoorDash for pickup.
7 min from order to pick up. Amazing.

Delicious katsu, one of the best in town.
I like the following from the Sugarland store’s: stir fried broccoli (it has a wok flavor), teriyaki chicken sauce (it’s a little too salty at this location), and soba noodles (the texture is too soggy here even though the flavor is the same)

One of the best values in the area when it comes to budget,, flavor, and nutrition. The food is fresh, well-balanced, and portions are generous without being overpriced. You can tell they care about what they serve. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a healthy, satisfying meal without breaking the bank!
I ordered Japanese curry with chicken for dinner. Unfortunately, what I received was not curry. It also had meat other than chicken. Luckily I do not have any dietary restrictions, or it would have been $14 down the drain.
I think the food was okay, the broccoli was a bit soft/mushy. Rice and meat were acceptable.
I will update the review whenever I revisit this place in the future.

We were visiting Houston for a baseball tournament and stumbled upon this gem near the fields. Decided to give it a try, and it was an absolute hit with our family! My son declared the chicken fried rice the best he’s ever had, and my daughter couldn’t stop raving about the noodles and beef, calling them the best she’s ever tasted. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with care. We also tried the seafood pancakes for the first time, and they were a delightful surprise—crispy and delicious! This place is a must-visit for anyone in the area. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Houston!
