I’m gonna try and pull up there rating 3.5 is disastrous. I will say the meat has no flavor and without the Mustard sauce I would not have been able to eat it Bread was good. Fries good. Goopy cheese not good. I removed it. They need to figure out a good cheese situation or remove it altogether
Totally different than the old Texadelphia that was loaded with shaved meat. Maybe it’s harder to make a profit that way tho.

Terrible; I am from Austin and ate the original and this is not it

Let me start by saying that I love Texadelphia & was stoked to see them open one in my area. Unfortunately that's where the good stops in this review.
I ordered the large cheesesteak & some waffle fries with queso.
The queso was at least 3 days old & had been sitting in a warmer for far too long. It wasn't even the yellow color one expects from queso, but instead was UT burnt orange & smelt like burnt rubber. It was so bad my dogs even turned their noses away from it. Whoever working in the kitchen that let it get to that stage & decided that the cheese tar was fit for consumption needs to be immediately fired!
Not even sure what to say about the cheesesteak as it just tasted off.
Im not sure what happened between their memorial location & this one, but the quality of food has DRASTICALLY dropped & im not sure I will be back after this visit.

Another case of Houston thinking they can make cheesesteak, its embarrasing.
Got the 18$ large in case i liked it, bad move. Try the small if you must, that way you waste less money.
Adriana seemed to be a nice lady though !

Didn’t necessarily have high expectations, but was hopeful given the reviews at the previous Texadelphia, but nothing compares to Philly. Still on the hunt for a decent cheesesteak in Houston.

Service was good, the waffle fries weren’t bad, you can add chips as a side and they give you cheese and salsa and it’s like 49 cents I think. I ordered the buffalo chicken cheesesteak with ranch on the side and they put it on top and a regular cheesesteak with cheese whiz only and they put mozzarella or some other cheese on it.

Anyways my review is solely off the cheesesteaks.

I had got the hippie chick and it was really good. I’m not much of a cheesesteak but I really enjoyed my lunch. The staff was really cool, I’ll come back 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

They’re open! The same iconic food that you’ve seen in various spots all over town - most recently in the Memorial location. I’m partial to what I think is the best chips and queso combination in Houston.

Similar layout to the location that used to be in the Rice Village. Cozy and approachable.

I’ve missed this place so much, and I’m really happy one has finally opened close to home 👏🏻👏🏻. The food itself was absolutely delicious, but the lack of filling was noticeable. It’s the kind of thing that could keep people from coming back, even though the flavor is spot on. With more generous filling, it would be perfect.

Great Cheesesteak sandwiches. Very happy they opened up at this new location. It isn't as large as the previous location but food and beers still good.
They mentioned they were still getting the kinks worked out and apologized for being a little slow, since only open a few days. But we didn't wait long for our food. Very friendly staff and owners. I didn't think to take any pictures. We gobbled up our chips and queso and Founders favorite cheese steaks.

Brand new and a great find! I haven't seen one of these since moving away from Austin. The queso is actually addictive, I couldn't stop eating it. Buffalo Chicken & Texican cheesesteaks we're fabulous. They have barely been open a week and the place was poppin! Going to be a great spot.

Food was extremely dry barely cheese on it! DEFINITELY not worth $16 too many other options in the area. I'd love to post a pic but I don't see the option. Also for being open 2 days you'd think the food would be on point.
