Got Sick, Then Got Ignored (Absolutely Unacceptable)
My family and I ate at Texas de Brazil and within hours of leaving, we became violently ill. This wasn’t “maybe something didn’t sit right” — it was immediate, severe, and honestly frightening. We had not eaten anywhere else that day, so the timing speaks for itself. All of us had to go to the hospital for food poisoning on a Sunday morning.
But what’s even more disgusting than the experience was the way this company handled it afterward.
We reached out through their official online contact form five separate times asking for help, accountability, and a refund. The response? Complete silence. Not a phone call. Not an email. Not even basic concern.
Yet somehow, they have time to post the same robotic, copy-and-paste “sorry to hear about your experience” reply publicly like it’s a customer service performance. It’s not customer care — it’s damage control, and it’s lazy.
If you’re considering eating here, just understand this.
If something goes wrong, you’re on your own. They will gladly take your money, serve you food that leaves you sick, and then pretend you don’t exist afterward.
Food safety should be non-negotiable. Customer service should be standard.
This place failed at both — and then doubled down by ignoring us.

Texas de Brazil is a scam dressed up as a “fine dining” experience.
We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, expecting quality food and professional service. Instead, we got an overpriced meal that felt like we were paying for the name, not the product.
The meats were consistently tough, chewy, and excessively salty across multiple cuts. Several pieces had an off texture that made us question the quality and handling. It was not enjoyable, not “premium,” and definitely not worth the price. The entire experience was disappointing from start to finish.
But the real reason I’m writing this review is because of what happened AFTER.
I submitted a formal complaint and specifically requested direct contact from a manager or owner, along with a business email so the issue could be properly addressed (including a refund discussion). Instead, I received the exact same generic copy-and-paste apology response they post under every negative review. No real acknowledgment of what happened. No contact info. No resolution. Just a corporate script designed to make it LOOK like they care while doing absolutely nothing.
UPDATE: It has now been over 40 days since the complaint was submitted and corporate was emailed. No response. No follow-up. No accountability.
This restaurant does not care about food quality, customer experience, or fixing problems. They care about branding, image, and collecting your money. Once they have it, you’re ignored.
If you’re thinking about coming here for a special occasion: don’t.
This place ruined what should’ve been a special anniversary dinner, and their complete lack of response proves they have no interest in making it right.

I got the salad bar only option. The salad and fixings were good but everything else was just ok. My husband got the meat option and he said it was ok as well. At first the meat servers barely came to our table but went to other tables frequently. After we mentioned it to a manger this improved greatly. The place was very busy ( Saturday night). We don't live nearby so we probably won't return. The best food to me was the mashed potatoes and potatoes au gratin. Its expensive and food just ok.

Both times my fiancé and I have been at Texas de Brazil we have left with a full belly and a delightful experience. We were fortunate to be served by Mr. Isais Hernandez on both visits. He is attentive,
professional, and genuinely passionate about his work, which is reflected in the exceptional service he provides.

I was honestly disappointed with my visit today.
First, the prices have gone up dramatically. This restaurant used to cost around $90–$110 for two people, including everything. Today, for a quick 45-minute visit, the total came out to $199, which feels excessive for the same experience.
Second, charging extra for an additional tea bag is not a good look. When a customer is already paying close to $200, basic courtesy matters. Charging extra tea cup
simply because I took two tea bags instead of one felt unnecessary and unwelcoming.
I understand prices increase over time, but value and customer experience should increase as well. Unfortunately, today’s visit did not reflect that.

I wanted to give this place five stars because the food was impeccable!
My friend and I arrived and was sat down in the back, which is fine. We chatted and waited for our server. Ten minutes had gone by and no one had come to greet us at our table or get our drinks, so we got up and was going to leave but I saw the manager and he sat us down to a different table and made sure that our experience was not a negative one from that moment forward.
The restaurant it self was very nice and clean, the salad bad had many options but of course we are there for the meat.
There was several meats rotating through we tried almost all of them and they were all very juicy, and delicious, I personally did not have any dry meats. You get served Brazilian bread, potatoes, plantains, and mashed potato, all were very delicious.
Food wise 5 ⭐️

My wife and I had dinner reservations last night 1/16 and felt extremely sick shortly after eating. We were experiencing symptoms of food poisoning.
**Update** Called today 1/17 and spoke to the manager Paolo or Paulo, worst customer service experience.. will not be going back if thats how you treat customers on the phone.

First timer! It was a great experience... just wish they could work on seating you immediately when you have a reservation
Very nice but smoke alarm when off and we had to leave not the restaurants issue but effected them.
By far the best Brazilian Steakhouse. Lamp chops were amazing and out favorite. Our waiter recommended a desert drink with our carrot cake that will have your taste buds excited for the pairing. I believe it was called Pama. It's a must with your desert.
