bartender mixed up my card with someone else when closing my tab, tried to to get their attention but they started closing so i was ignored until i finally got ahold of someone. one of the bartenders was rude after the situation, like if it was my fault they messed up.

Not that much food availability the day we went. Just a bar to get drinks or beer. They had Stella Zero alcohol beer

I would err on the side of caution of paying your tab with cash. Paid in cash and they ended up charging my credit card as well. They must have thought my cash + tip was solely a tip 😂 Not for that shitty service!!!

Sadly they have very strict rules regarding looks or dress code. Be aware so you don't waste your time. On our first time visiting we had to turn around and go away due to wearing a tank top. We live in Houston, and the summers here are 100° degrees. I guess I will have to wear my nun dress next time so I can get service. Bad experience from minute one. I DO NOT recommend it.

Texas T Tavern is the best place to stop in, grab some food and drinks, and enjoy the best bartenders Houston has to offer! Too many to name but definitely James “Jimbo” makes the best drinks to get you right and set you up for a great time! Always so pleasant and friendly, he is a perfect fit here at Texas T!

Came here for New Year’s Eve. The service was poor, I guess you can only get decent service if you’re a regular. The atmosphere was very boring and music was putting me to sleep.
