“After seeing on television that the restaurant won a James Beard award, I put it on my list of places to go. The expectations were pretty high, and our party was not disappointed. The medium spice level was perfect...flavorful with a kick. Drunken Noodles, Krapow Beef, and the Meatball Appetizer were our favorites. This restaurant was an hour drive for us and did not disappoint. It was worth the trip, and we will be back. The only two criticisms would be that their front door is darkened, and from outside, does not look like an actual entrance. And the noise level was a little high, so our server had to repeat herself a few times, but she didn't seem to mind and checked on us regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves“

“Had no clue Rooster and Rice & OhMyGogi! Joined forces.

The guy at the front counter was awesome, person-able, knowledgeable on the menu, and helped us out greatly. From start to finish!

I first had OhMyGogi! When they were just a taco truck driving around town and at local events like for HUG Tx2k. We absolution enjoyed everything we tried.

The Korean BBQ Street Tacos were just full of flavor as a must try item!
The sliders were our other favorite along with the quesadilla.

And Rooster & Rice is just as delicious, highly suggest for first timer to try the “cutlet” the crust and crunchiness is the way to go. Chicken was juicy, tender, and full of flavor for something so simple.

The only bad item worth noting is that seating inside is rather limited. (See pic) it’s VERY small, 4-5 seats at a bar counter top. So if you plan to sit down, you’ll have to sit outside to enjoy your hot meal.

But don’t let that stop you. We enjoyed it so much, we already went back for more today w the family. (Have to update the review with more pictures and videos of our food selections)

Definitely worth a stop and try out if your in the area.

“Visited Post Houston and tried this restaurant. We ordered the Beef Panang and Tamarind Chili Wings. The Beef Panang was outstanding—perfectly spicy with a delightful hint of citrus that made every bite delicious. Definitely a standout dish! The Tamarind Chili Wings were also enjoyable, offering a nice balance of sweet and tangy flavors. Also I liked the food presentation. Overall, a great dining experience, and I'd highly recommend trying the Beef Panang if you're visiting!“

“I was greeted by the sweetest man (I think the owner.) You can tell he takes pride in his restaurant and food. It's very clean inside and I ordered the pumpkin curry with added eggplant. It's the BEST. I will be back to try more and sit on the beautiful patio with a friendly atmosphere. They even have thai imported lager. A++“

“I had an amazing experience at Malai Thai Street Eats! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The Chicken Satay (4 pcs) was perfectly grilled and packed with flavor, the Pineapple Fried Rice with beef was fresh, aromatic, and full of authentic taste, and the Japanese Cheesecake with ice cream was the perfect sweet ending — light, creamy, and refreshing.

On top of the great food, the service really stood out. A big shoutout to Marvin A, my server, for being so attentive, friendly, and making sure everything was spot-on throughout my meal. His excellent service really elevated the whole experience.

“We had an amazing dinner with shu mai, fried eggplant, and golden sacks for appetizers, som tum papaya salad, and mama pad and pad nam prik pao for entrees, followed by fried banana with honey for dessert, then thai wings to go. I can't describe how impressed I was with all the wonderful levels of flavor. I got level 2 heat and my hubby got level 3. I didn't even try his, mine was just the perfect amount of spice and I actually love heat. Their level 2 is more than enough heat than most other similar restaurants. The sauces were on point as well. Emmy, our server was very attentive and sweet. The music was a light and jazzy and not so loud you have to scream to talk to anyone. I will be bringing my son for his birthday because he would love it too. Oh and the thai teas were flavorful and not too sweet. Great job all around. Thank you for a memorable meal. “I’ve been under the weather and wanted a good soup so ordered delivery from here. OMG. I think I just found my new favorite soup. The Tom Kha Gai (with chicken) was absolutely delicious. Silky smooth with layers of full flavor, and a little sweetness. I am SO glad I gave it a try. The Panang Curry was also very tasty and hit the spot on a chilly night. “I work near here. My coworkers and I come here weekly. All of the currys are fantastic, but my current go to is the Phad Prik with chicken. The sauce is very savory and I can’t get enough. Besides the food, the staff is great and the owner is friendly and treats us well. If you like Thai, you shouldn’t sleep on this restaurant.“

“I love this Restaurant I found it when I was ordering Door Dash, I had to go visit this place my self. I drive all the way from Porter to order food here. The people are so friendly and the atmosphere is great. I've been twice and the food is amazing every time I go. I ask for Extra Fish sauce.
