The fried tofu was nice and crispy, the bean sprouts were delicious, and the noodles being so yummy. I also got hot tea which comes in two options of jasmine and green. The ac is either broken, repairs, or hasn’t been installed because there was a giant fan for them to use.The staff was nice, bathrooms are clean, and the service was good.Highly recommend to all those Thai food lovers or those looking for a great place to eat
The service needs improvement. My order was incorrect, and it took around 40 minutes to get the correct order. Our server could not have been less concerned. My lunch partner had finished eating as I watched order after order come out of the kitchen while mine was neglected. When I got my food, it was not correct again, but I did not have another 40 minutes to wait again.
Wow so much has changed over the years. This used to be one of my favorite spots but after today I definitely will not return. The red curry was watery and oily. The pad Thai was dry and dark. Seemed to have been sitting for quite some time. The tomatoes on the salad were white which I would attribute to mold. The best part was the egg roll and that’s just me giving some sort of credit. Do better Thai cottage
The food quality was absolutely questionable (BAD). We had ordered noodles and had categorically asked for the highest spice levels, but to our surprise, found the food to be sweet. When we brought the issue to our server's attention, nothing was done to fix the situation or rather apologize for the same.I don't recommend the restaurant based on this experience and sincerely hope that they will improve their food quality and service for their future customers eventually.
Staff was a great help with dietary and allergy restrictions. Presentation was spectacular and an unexpectedly good surprise. Not my typical menu selection for a Thai restaurant, but the chicken wings were quite awesome. Flavors in general were great.
I enjoy my curry meal. But I still have another Thai restaurant that is my favorite in Houston.
My wife enjoyed the chicken teriyaki but not as much as my chicken pad thai. The teriyaki chicken was full of flavor but a little chewier than the tender pad thai chicken. I didn't mind the chewiness so we swapped a lot of chicken bits and a good time was had by all. This was very good pad thai, I'm no expert but it's my go to dish when trying Thai food. We've eaten at a few other Thai Cottage locations in the city but it's been years ago....glad to see they still serve quality food. The service was as good as the food....we'll be back, doesn't hurt to have a great coffee roaster next door, win win!!
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Houston ! Pad se eew is always amazing along with the flavorful mango sticky rice dessert! The shrimp roll appetizer with peanut sauce is finger-licking good. Notice all the sauce is gone is the picture!?Great service as well !
Love ❤ this Thai restaurant, going to put unto rotation. Their sauces are the star of the show. Best peanut sauce, ever had, lime for beef or rice with some onions was so good. Soup was delicious. They should make a large size.
Food is pretty good, good Tom yum. The service is kinda poor. Last time I went in an ordered crab fried rice and it came out with a very unusual smell and taste. Had to send it back due to the smell and they refused to take it off the check
Restaurantji Recommends
Best Thai food in townDefinitely Coming back soon.
I really like the atmosphere and the food is pretty good too for a casual Thai place. The service has been great everytime I've gone and I've been lucky and never waited. They have some shrimp crackers that are pretty strange but cool to try. Only downside is the parking on weekend nights stinks. Try parking further away in the unlabeled spots and walking a little further to the restaurant
Ordered the Wings of paradise and the crispy chicken rolls . Pulled it up on Google maps and hit menu and it shows 10 wings for $7.50 and when I got it I only got 5 wings and they say that at their location you get 5 wings that seems deceptive to me. Deception has consequences and I will not recommend this location or go there myself again.
Yummmmmy delicious food. Lunch specials are great. Kind friendly staff. Prices are decent too. Clean restaurant.
Decent food. Made the food spicy when we ordered mild. Not much atmosphere.
