Been here a few times & their Thai food is the real deal! The pad thai & different curry’s they serve are all fantastic. Right amount of spice!
The food was so delicious we ordered the panang curry, kids fried rice, and chicken pad thai. The service was amazing and just a wonderful experience if you are looking for the real deal then go eat there!
Nice Thai food. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Ordered the grilled shrimp & short ribs. Tasted amazing!!!!!! It was well seasoned, and the portion is pretty big. Love the decorations and customer service. Definitely a hidden gem. Great food and service! Perfect for a date.
This restaurant do not make any changes on the phone after placing the order thru Door Dash. They do not have option on door dash app to pre select option No Egg on Vegetable Noodles and do not have option to write instructions on each item. The front desk person saying we should place order directly with them rather using door dash but they don’t have deliver option. Be a customer friendly and listen what customer explain on phone first. I do not recommend this restaurant due to customer friendly to place order from food delivery websites.
If you need a place to satiate your hunger and maybe craving for Thai food, this could be an option. There are multiple locations you can go and reservation are not typically required.Quality of food may vary in different locations but not sure it is a single case.Waiters are very nice and attentive.
Average 4.5 Stars.I have been to the Thai Cottage twice. First timeI would give it 4 stars and the second I would give it 5 stars.Get the yellow curry with duck as it comes with some very flavorful sauce and a nice portion of rice. You can’t miss with the flavors, the richness, and the absolute heat that comes with the yellow curry. The thai noodles here are also pretty good. A bit saltier than I would have asked but for the most part this dish was excellent. The coffee had a kick too.
It has been the worst THAI restaurant I have ever been to in the US. It has pretty good reviews, so I gave it a try. I ordered Duck curry togo, and it was 19.50 with tax. When I brought it home, there was barely any duck meat in the curry, like one skin and a few meat chunks, and the curry was so sour. This was the first time I threw a new dish in the trash. I called, and they told me to come back. They would make a new one for me. Who has time to drive back and forth? Who knows they might said I ate all the meat and it would be my fault? How can I trust them to make the food again after this hassle? This was the first time in my life having this restaurant togo issues. Such a waste of money and time. SO BAD AND DISHONEST. NEVER COME BACK AND DON’T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.
I usually eat at the Sugar Land Thai Cottage location, and I think I will stick to that location from now on. I ordered take-out. Lunch special, Thai Green curry with Chicken. MEDIUM spice. The curry was SO SWEET, it was almost inedible and disgusting to eat. And I NEVER describe food as disgusting.. the bamboo shoots in the curry were incredibly sour, and the overall consistency of the curry was almost slimy. I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites. The second bite was to ensure I wasn’t crazy or exaggerating. This is not what Thai food should taste like. Very disappointed.
My first time every having Thai was here last week, and omg what have I been missing?! This place was delicious and the team was friendly and helpful. Lunch time gets a little busy, so expect to be there for a bit and not in and out. Highly recommend and I will be back for sure!

We love Thai Cottage, but we haven't dined inside since the remodel. The experience was disappointing. After we were seated, no one came to our table for a drink order. We watched them go to others who had been seated after us get their drinks before we were even acknowledged. With so much time, before they actually showed, we ordered entrees and drinks simultaneously. There were two of us, but they provided only one set of utensils. The spoon was visibly dirty. We had to wait after receiving the entree for someone to bring utensils. We watched a nearby table of three experience the same thing. They waited for utensils then finally got some off of a different table. There weren't enough so one member of their party was stuck waiting for a server. No one came by to check on us after we had a chance to taste our entrees. The pad thai was exceptionally sweet. I kept squeezing lime juice on each bite to tamper it a bit. Eventually I gave up. Son loved his fried rice. We waited and waited for the check.I likely won't return in person or via door dash for a very long time.
First and last time here. It really is surprisingly hard to find good Thai food here in Houston especially in the Katy/Sugarland area. Everything is fusion this or fusion that. Here at Thai Cottage they don't advertise fusion, but that is what you get ...Thai infused with sugar. Everything was overtly sweet . The only flavor you could taste was sugar. Its like the Panda Express of Thai food. Lunch green shrimp curry with 4 shrimp was $12.50. My total bill was 24 with app and tip. I felt robbed. I don't mind paying for good food even decent but this isn't it, especially with the tiny portions. Save yourself the grief and high blood sugars
I should read the reviews first and that’s true that prices here have increased substantially and the portions of Pad Thai had decreased to almost half of the original portion but what really trouble me is the smell really bad from the kitchen. I’m waiting in front of the kitchen. I will never coming back to this restaurant at Thai restaurant at Katy.
Such a cute location! Great food. Same menu as the other chain locations. My go to lunch order is yellow curry with chicken, spicy level 2! And try the Thai tea. It's dangerously delicious!
Interior was modern and clean. Service and food was ok only. We had the lunch menu. Comes with fried spring roll and either salad or house soup. The fried spring rolls was crunchy and nice.
