Had some loud and obnoxious high schoolers in the restaurant, they were cursing and saying the "n" word. I had my four year old with me. He did not need to hear that from those kids. Everything else was excellent!!! Will definitely go back.
I grew up in Lafayette and New Orleans Louisiana. So I am a huge fan of Cajun food in the Cajun way. While the food at this restaurant was good, it’s equivalent to someone from Mexico coming to Texas and trying Taco Bell and being asked, “well does it taste like authentic Mexican food?”. No of course it doesn’t.But it’s still good. We still love it.The food here is more like cafeteria style Cajun food if that makes any sense. It doesn’t have the same richness and texture...

I'll start this by saying that I can be a bit hard to please when it comes to Cajun food. I ate a lot of it, growing up in Louisiana. We ordered a fried shrimp poboy, a shrimp/crawfish combo etouffee, and red beans and rice. I would have tried some gumbo, but they use a tomato base, making this more Creole than Cajun style.
