It was pretty inside and the service was aight. But man the food was such a miss and let down. Either the oil was super old or they over cooked it. The shumai was terrible texture and a weird sourness. The crawfish and garlic noodles were okay. Just not something I would imagine a master chef making

Enjoyed a nice dinner with friends last night! We ordered family-style to share at the table. For the four of us, 3 small dishes, 2 medium and 2 large was the perfect amount of food. The dishes we tried -- and thoroughly enjoyed -- were Tom Toast, Thit Kho Dumplings, Pork Belly Skewers, Banh Khot, Puffed Rice Noodles, Brisket Fried Rice, and Crawfish Garlic Noodles.

We also shared a Rubbish Apple Pie and a 'S'more please' dessert -- fantastic! The cocktails were also great, especially the Saigonberry Sour. Will definitely be back!

food was great! service was pretty slow- we were there for almost 3 hours because of the wait for most of our drinks.

I was so excited to try all the food after years of watching Ha’s cooking, but sadly my food (shrimp toast sauce and green curry) was super salty so that I couldn’t finish. Unfortunate, The Thit Kho dumpling didn't taste like any Thit Kho at all (my most expected dish). To be fair, the Apple Pie is phenomenal. Overall it was an experience for me.

Don’t come in here expecting traditional homey Viet flavors. If that’s what you want, go somewhere else. The dishes that we had put a Vietnamese spin on different dishes. The salmon tartare with the jackfruit and chili oil was probably the highlight of the night for me. My husband thought the sticky wings were the best wings he’s ever had, and the fish sauce caramel on the apple pie gives it a distinct taste that just…oh so good.

Other dishes we tried were the eggrolls (heavier on the mushroom taste than I prefer, but great fish sauce dip), the cabbage roll (husband loved it), and the hangar steak with green curry (steak was cooked to perfection for us but can be chewy for others who like their meat more cooked).

The price is on the higher side for some, but the wings were cheaper than other restaurants. Well worth the price for the quality of food and amazing service.

Good spot, nice decor inside and food was good. Extremely light staffed but they got it done. Food came out quick.

Amazing food. I felt like I had never really eaten at a real restaurant until we went here.

Everything was well presented, beautiful. We ate every bite.

The carpaccio was sublime. The salmon won awards, and was strong. The chicken skewers were tasty. The pasta with crawfish was amazing.

Highly recommend this.

We are definitely going back.

$3 for a tiny bowl of rice? Really?
I left The Blind Goat disappointed. We were a party of four, we ordered a few of appertizers, dumpling (mediocre), pork belly skewers (very good) and the recommended sticky wings (very good). For dinner, we ordered the crawfish garlic noodle (very nicely cooked with lots of crawfish and flavorful), Grilled steak with green curry (steak is tender but didn’t get much of the green curry flavor), blistered green beans (very blend with little flavor, even Saltgrass steakhouse side dish green bean taste better, seriously), and Texas BBQ brisket fried rice (nicely cooked fried rice with good chunks of brisket). We ended our dinner with apple pie a la mode, which was highly recommended from the reviews, the apple pie mixed with some Asian spices tasted good but portion size was small because the pie is thin not the usual American apple pie you are accustomed to. Overall the dishes we had were somewhat hit and miss, but I just couldn’t get over the $3 for a very tiny bowl of steamed rice.

Awesome experience, we were expecting delicous dishes, but our expectations were surpassed. The sticky wings, puffed rice noodles w/tofu, salmon, all great dishes and highly recomended. this is a must go restaraunt if you are looking for freshly cooked dishes, the flavors were spot on along with food texture. This place does not dissapoint. Will for sure be returning to try the other dishes.

A cozy hidden gem in the neighborhood, owned by Christine Ha from MasterChef Season 3. I know her from the show, but I decided to check it out without any bias as I was just passing by. We ordered Sticky Wings, Mom’s Eggrolls, Vietnamese Chicken Curry, and Caramelized Salmon. These are pretty common dishes, but each had a cool, unique twist.

Sticky Wings (6/10): The fish sauce flavor is pretty strong, which might not be for everyone, but still tasty overall.

Mom’s Eggrolls (7/10): Solid appetizer, though I wasn’t thrilled they charge an extra $0.50 for the carrot, daikon, and lettuce.

Vietnamese Chicken Curry (7/10): My first time trying Vietnamese curry, and it was more like Japanese curry—lighter and less buttery than Indian or Thai versions.

Caramelized Salmon (8/10): Definitely the best dish of the night. It was a bit on the sweet side, but the chili pepper added a nice kick. I’d recommend taking small bites of both the salmon and pepper for a good sweet-heat combo.

Overall, a good experience. The food is delicious on its own, the atmosphere was pleasant, but the pricing feels a bit higher than average. I’d still come back to try other dishes.

This restaurant is by an award winning MasterChef winner Christine Ha who specialises in Vietnamese cuisine. Food was good, service was slow but overall the atmosphere was good. Drinks were too good and their apple pie was to die for. We had a great time.

Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options

I was shocked and confused when I received my dish. I got the steak with green curry. It's $25 for maybe 3oz of meat. Flavor was average at best. I also ordered the brussel sprouts, they were beyond charred it was burnt. Overpriced and underwhelming. Also when I walked in the hostess was on her phone, I stood there 5 ft in front of her for maybe 20 seconds before she looked up.
