Food was tasteless. It was the saddest pancake Iāve ever had. I expected it to be better than IHOP, but it was worse. I saw people returning their food because it was so bad.

Fix the music that plays when you put people on hold on the phone, itās redlining so hard it sounds distorted. If this gets fixed I will edit my 1 star to a 4 or 5 star
Not the same since new owners. Been eating breakfast here since they were actually at the corner of Buffalo Speedway and Bissonnet. Always ordered the same thing so directly comparable.
Reason I ate here is basically the hash browns and bacon. Hash browns were now super dry instead of the previous nice mix of crispy and soft, and there doesnāt seem to be any onions in them anymore; now they were like eating those fried shoestring potatoes from a can. Bacon was undercooked and my last piece had an off taste. My English muffin was actually tough and hard to chew (how is that even possible).
This is one of those places where I normally clean the plate, but couldnāt this time. Will try again to confirm not a fluke but not too hopeful.

It appears the new owner is decreasing portion sizes but not prices. The breakfast burrito is noticeably smaller than it used to be and the migas appeared to be smaller as well. I don't see a reason to go back.

The Bissonnett location continues to go downhill like a snowball headed for hell. This time I ordered french toast and grits. Proper french toast should be soaked in the egg/milk mixture. This order was lightly ādunkedā in the mixture so the interior was dry. It lacked good texture and flavor. The grits were tasteless and VERY lumpy! At least the bacon was eatable.
This was our second trip after new ownership/staff. Not sure I can give it another try. Itās just sad.

The ideal neighborhood restaurant. I wish they would season the vegetables, but the Acapulco Catfish is always good.
