The Capital Grille

Yesterday, for my birthday, my husband took me to the Capital Grille on Sam Houston Parkway for lunch. Kristlyn Tumer served us. She was WONDERFUL. The food was great, the restaurant was warm and welcoming, but Kristlyn added the final touch. Until yesterday I had a different restaurant as my favorite restaurant in Houston, but yesterday’s experience made this place first in my heart. I had such a wonderful dining experience..

I had such a great experience at The Capital Grille in CityCentre, and a huge part of that was Skylar at the bar! From the moment I sat down, he was attentive, personable, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. He knew the menu well, made great recommendations, and you could tell he actually cares about the guest experience. The service felt effortless and polished, which is exactly what you hope for at a place like this. Skylar is truly an asset to this location, and The Capital Grille is lucky to have him. I’ll definitely be back and hope to be served by him again.

Christopher made our meal a great experience, we followed his recommendations. It’s a top tier restaurant, every bite was delicious and balanced. The atmosphere was comfortable. Impressive!

We had a wonderful Happy Hour experience at The Capital Grille in CityCentre. The food was very good, and the drinks were exceptional. The customer service was outstanding, particularly from the bartenders, who were professional, friendly, and maintained a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience.

The Capital Grille was such a 5-star experience. The environment was nice, the food was amazing and the service was top tier.

Outstanding in every aspect. Professional service, excellent drinks, and food prepared by experts.

I have taken my mom here twice and will continue to do so. The service is so attentive, kind, hands on, and just truly exceptional. Miss Fadi (I deeply apologize if I have misspelled her name, I should have looked how to spell it) She served us each time and always made us feel so comfortable, very attentive, knowledgable, and just so kind. We never once had to wait around looking for her, she is always such a joy never rushes us. Excellent food everytime, and will be forever customers.

I recently visited the restaurant for the first time and had a great experience. The food is really delicious and the service is excellent. I would especially like to commend Alyssa and Bella who were very kind and did their best to provide the best service possible.

Food was good, ribeye, crab cakes, and apple tart were highlights of the night. The NY strip was a lil dry. Service was good, checked up on us frequently.

Excellent experience with John our server. Nice facility, super clean restrooms, large menu of food and wine. Easy valet parking.

Our drinks took a long time, understandable as it was New Years Eve but still at this level of restaurant. 20 min is a bit too long. Not waitress fault at all. she was great. we've been coming to Capital Grill and never have they asked us if we wanted half order. we always waste so much food. she said oh yeah its been like this forever. well if we would have known. anyway overall was great dinner just getting initial drinks was very slow.
