No place to sit 🙈 but it’s expected for downtown/midtown Houston. The coffee was fantastic. I had the Signature West End Latte.

Such a beautiful place. Lots of seating options with multiple levels. Priced perfect compared to other places. Coffee was good. Place was packed full but very quiet. My kind of coffee place. Saw reviews with parking issues but we had no issue parking.

Had the West End Latte. Little flavor tasted like hot milk. Even a lady who was passing me on the stairs commented to her friends, "Did I just get hot, sweet, milk? Where was the coffee?" Unfortunately, I share in her sentiment.
I have been searching the Houston area for Portland like coffee. We are coffee-holics and love a robust brew. If I'm being honest, I have had better coffee at other coffee shops. Apparently, I wasn't the only person today who thought this.
Decor puts me in the mind of Agora Cafe with a more industrial vibe. Jammin' music super chill vibe, though! Get your laptop, or bust out with your pens and inks to sketch (that's what I did). Any level is great--but on a nice day the rooftop is IT! Was the coffee so bad I won't come back? No. The atmosphere will call to you. We need this in Houston. I will work with Baristas next time and see if they can make me a stronger brew. Lattes are typically steamed milk base, but they often have a really good flavor. I dunno, something was amiss. Can't put my finger on it. Staff was super friendly, I might add. I will be back--for SURE! I will try a different brew :-)

The ambience is great here. Seems that the owners have truly worked to create an open and eccentric environment. I enjoy Saturday morning coffees here !

Ordered a Cortado and it was warm, not hot. Not sure they really steamed the milk. Cool looking place. Service is not great, snide, snarky and rude. Lots of coffee shops in the area, I would suggest choosing one where they treat their customers well.

I liked the fact that there are 4 levels of seating to choose from. During the day, which is when I went, there were enough people on the first level for it to feel like a popular coffee house. The second level was a bit more quiet. For people who desire a more intimate atmosphere with less talking. Level three was closed off from all of the noise, spacious, and respectably quiet with large tables for those who like to read or study with huge windows that allowed for awesome views. Then there was the rooftop. The rooftop is my favorite because of the views. It's very nice. Ample seating during the day, but I'm sure at night the views of the lit up skyline make the rooftop competitive. I enjoyed the coffee. It was a bit challenging to order because they don't have a menu backboard. However, they do have menus you can pick up and read while you wait in line. They have pastries and prepackaged sandwiches if you're hungry, but it is a coffee house. Don't expect a meal. Overall, I liked it.

I'm a Drip coffee kinda guy. They have a good rotating selection of drip. I travel from Texas to Seattle and Portland all the time. This coffee shop is on the top of the list. Good vibes and great coffee. The baristas were polite and informative. Service was very quick. The atmosphere is hip but chill. Kinda upscale, laid back vibe. Gotta love the remodel of an old building. Gotta love the location. Being an ole boy from Texas... gotta love that gravel parking lot. No serious, I dig gravel lots. Pavement...Ain't no body got time for that :-) 790 on the dial

I always enjoy my time at The Coffee House at West End. Having once attended church here before it became what it is today, I find it fascinating to see the transformation under new leadership, with the addition of one of Houston’s best coffee shops. Although it can be busy, there is usually a spot available, and options to share tables or relax on the rooftop while working, studying, or enjoying some quiet time alone or with friends. The coffee is excellent, and while the food items may be a bit overpriced, the ambiance—complete with exposed brick, large wooden panels, comfortable chairs, and a rustic feel—is well worth the visit. I highly recommend this place.

This is such a cute coffee shop! Loved the delicious chai latte and pecan cookie. Three floors plus a rooftop seating area so PLENTY of seating available. Enjoyed sitting on the rooftop with a nice breeze and working remote.
