Trying to find something different and quick for dinner, Tried The Cookshack and was not disappointed. Had the Chicken&Waffles, waffle was light and fluffy with a great flavor, butter on top of the waffle was delicious. Chicken was great, seasoning on the outside really tasted good. Had the mac n cheese for a side, tasted as if it was smoked really good flavor. Highly recommend

First time there. I had the Sleezy Chicken, which is a combination of mac and cheese, chicken tenders, and coleslaw slaw. It was a generous portion (ended up being 2 filling meals for me) and was delicious!

Been here twice, back to back Saturdays. Each time the staff was great, food was hot and delicious and bathrooms and restaurant was clean. The chicken and waffles with medium heat was the best I've had and the Sleezy Chicken was surprisingly delicious too! We don't venture off to Houston very much, but when we do, we'll go here for our next lunch!

Had a much better experience at the one in San Antonio. I ordered the exact same thing which was the Texas Hot chicken sandwich, dragon fries, and Shack salad and everything tasted better at the one in San Antonio. The worst part is they forgot to put avocado on my salad so I missed out on the creaminess I was expecting. Will be moving to San Antonio soon so no need to go back here
