Myself & 5 additional guests dined yesterday at Bacaro's for lunch & what a nice treat! We all opted for their soup & salad lunch option & everyone mentioned how delicious & hot (heat, not spicy) the soups were & the salad was absolutely delicious. The crème de la crème was that we could all actually hear each other speak. No shouting over loud background music. Loved that! Our waitress was prompt & polite. I definitely, definitely recommend going to Bacaro's for lunch. My husband & I are going for dinner this weekend.

Very nice place, good service and wonderful food. I ordered mussel and filet mignon for medium rear.

Bread was late. We asked twice. It was delicious when we got it. Artichokes seemed greasy but still ok. Salad is great.

We love Bacaro, typically going there every week. Service is great. Food is good. It's such a welcoming place and atmosphere. A true gym on the west side. And their soups are amazing.

Exceptional service. From a very friendly greeting, we enjoyed multiple wine bar selections that will now be on home menu. The dinner was very good as expected from multiple previous trips. I particularly recommend the chicken parmigiana. A great evening in a wonderful locally owned Italian restaurant.

Excellent wine selection. We had a Pinot , EIEIO. And then a second bottle of the same. Delish. Paired well with the dishes we ordered. I had the shrimp scampi. Perfectly cooked and flavorful. Not like some places which overcook the shrimp. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. We left enough room for a couple of desserts. Bread pudding was bomb. Nice place. Prices were reasonable. Nice crowd seated at tables and at the bar. Definitely recommend and will be back. 😎🍷.

We hadn't been there in a while after a below par experience years ago. We decided to give it another try and we're pleased with our experience. A nice quiet place for a dinner out.

12/13/25 Sat night 7:30 pm my girlfriend and I went there but hadn't been for a long time and it was excellent! :-) We both had the Filet steak dinner and it was one of the best I've every had. The Boen Pino Noir wine was really good too. Recommend getting reservations there as they are really busy. We had Shelby Bill's daughter so it was great to see her again! We will definitely be back again.

Despite the good online star ratings, the ambience was that of a Wendy's which was highly disappointing. The staff was nice enough but then the food - - - we ordered & received our food in 4 minutes, absolutely not kidding. When the waitress was approaching our table I kind of assumed it was another table's order but it was ours. The entire experience was just underwhelming, but the food arriving so quickly was what we keep scratching our heads about.

Bacaro is a neighborhood gem in the Memorial area! Food is consistently good and service is excellent. It's a cozy restaurant and very enjoyable.
