Bacaro Kitchen & Wine Bar

Despite the good online star ratings, the ambience was that of a Wendy's which was highly disappointing. The staff was nice enough but then the food - - - we ordered & received our food in 4 minutes, absolutely not kidding. When the waitress was approaching our table I kind of assumed it was another table's order but it was ours. The entire experience was just underwhelming, but the food arriving so quickly was what we keep scratching our heads about.

Bacaro is a neighborhood gem in the Memorial area! Food is consistently good and service is excellent. It's a cozy restaurant and very enjoyable.

The meatball appetizer and off menu Italian style stroganoff was wonderful. The owner Bill always has great wine recommendations.

We are frequent diners at Bacaro's. The owner, Bill, and the staff are fantastic, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is typically pretty quiet which we really like. Bill has a strong background with wines and we've never been disappointed with any of his suggestions - many of which seem to be unique to his restaurant. There is a great small bar if that's your preference, but we typically choose to sit at the tables.

Always a great experience at Becaro. Staff friendly and attentive, food delicious and wine selection and support perfect.

Our party of three women had a great time celebrating the birthday of one of us. All around excellent.  our server was very friendly and attentive and knew all about their options. parking was easy. The atmosphere is very good and it is certainly conveniently located for the West Houston environment. 

Food is very good. Only knock was the angel hair pasta was overcooked a little. Service was beyond good...thank you Shelby!!

I expected a bit more based on all of the other reviews. This is your basic local Italian restaurant. There’s really nothing special about it except possibly the Pistachio gelato. I did enjoy the Chicken Parmigiana however my dining companion did not like the Hanger Steak. Stick to the basics here and you’ll do fine.
