As someone noted in the review section, ātheyā do not answer your calls when inquiring about your cake. I wanted to pickup the cake a day earlier since the location is over a hour away from me. No response or call back at all. I called twice on different days.. However, the day youāre expected to pick up your cake, all of a sudden they answer their phone. Weird.. Upon picking my cake up at their residence, (thought they had a storefront) I said āso you donāt like answering phones I seeā the guy blamed the nuance on bad reception in the area as to why he didnāt receive my call. He must of thought l was born yesterday. Itās their tactic to ignore your calls until day of pickup.
Lastly, the cake is a disappointment.. very tasteless. Whomever, made the cake use whip cream mixed with cream cheese in my opinion as the icing.. The only positive is that the cake was fresh but it is very bland. I am used to buttercream icing, fresh strawberries mixed with vanilla custard as the filling with the cake or breading part soft & not chilled. I miss my home state (Jersey) as there is a bakery my fam patronize since the 80s & the taste is everything.. From the past customers raving about this place, is the reason why I gave this bakery a shot; assumed the cake tasted good, guess my taste buds is not immune to sweet & low..

I recently ordered a honeycake (medovik) and couldn't be more pleased with my experience! š The cake was beautifully crafted, with perfectly balanced layers of soft, honey-infused sponge and creamy filling. Each bite was a delightful blend of sweetness and warmth, making it a hit at our gathering. The flavor was rich yet not overpowering, and the texture was wonderfully light. It was evident that great care went into making this cake. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a classic dessert!

Oh my! Their signature cake (10 super thin layers with divinely light white signature cream) is one of a kind. Itās more expensive than the store but itās worth every single bites. Our family enjoyed it so much! Thank you ? We will definitely order again ?

I live in Europe and my boyfriend lives in Houston. I wanted to surprise him for his birthday and send him a cake. I found Divine cake on the internet and ordered it. I was skeptical because I have never made anything like this, but Divine cake did a good job. They made the cake just the way I want it, with the text and everything... the delivery time, the communication... everything was very professional, and the cake was very tasty. I will order again ?

Awful ugly cake decorations. Could have probably gotten better at a friggin Fiesta TBH. When I pay a certain amount of money for a custom-made cake, I expect it to be up to a certain standard. I provided sample pictures of what I wanted the cake to look like and I got the "Wish" version of it. The heart cake is what i requested, same decorations minus the cake. The right is what we got. I also requested strawberries, and she didn't even add them, which is a shame because maybe it could have saved this atrocity of a cake.The business does not answer their phone, so I can't even discuss with her what the problem is or how to resolve. BAD BUSINESS.

I just got my husband this cake for his birthday and he LOVED it. It's the perfect combo of sweet and light. I normally scrape icing off of cakes but the divine cake is light and the perfect amount of sweet mixed with the fresh strawberry added filling. I also love the fact that it's a family-owned home business. Pick up outside the apartment complex was also easy & quick. Would 100% recommend and order again.

This is my first time ordering but second time eating The Divine Cake. My SO and I are usually no slice/1 slice cake people and our first time trying it, we went back for seconds! Iāve been raving about the cake since then and decided to order it for a friendās birthday recently. Canāt wait to order more in the future!

I can't rant enough about Divine Cakes. I needed a gender reveal cake and was experiencing problems with the website. I called them late in the evening and they took my order took care of it with no issues. Thank you so much the cake was wonderful and make my friends day!
