The young female cashier was incredibly rude. She kept looking at me like I was dumb. I could barely hear her since she wouldn’t speak up, so I got confused about what she was asking. I still apologized — not because I did anything wrong, but because I try to show some grace to people working in customer service (not that they’d actually mess with the food, but still). Turns out it wasn’t just me — other customers seemed confused too. One girl even asked where the menu was, and the cashier rolled her eyes and said, “All around.” Yeah… she sucks, honestly.

I did a dumb and didn't realize that the place closed at 9pm, the guy running the counter actively sought me out at the Den to give me my beef fried rice instead of tossing it after they closed, which I thought was nice of him. The fried rice was good, not the best but was very good.

Cozy café with aromatic coffee and a selection of freshly baked pastries.
The food is phenomenal, but I prefer ordering ahead because it’s usually a 15-20 minute wait. They get pretty busy, but it’s def worth is!

I loved this food so much!! I came here after my freshman orientation at UH and got the dark mixed fried rice and pan fried chicken dumplings. They were so delicious omg the fried rice was perfectly cooked and the dumplings were so hot and juciy and the sauce that came with it was perfect. I think however I would try the pork dumplings instead since to me the chicken ones were a bit plain for my liking. Overall a great place to eat and I will be coming here more often!!
