The omelet my wife ordered was pretty good. She got to pick whether she wanted 2 or 4 eggs, she picked 2, and she she had a choice of 5 things to put in it, most places you have to get 3 eggs and 3 choices. These options are good and the omelet was pretty good. I saw a hot roast beef sammich and assumed it would be open faced with gravy, nope. It was hot roast beef on a bagguette with the option of tomato, lettuce and mayo....when they gave me these options i was pretty sure...
This place was okay, nothing fancy like an IHOP or pancake house but very clean. The food was great but a little overpriced. Paying over $25 for an omelette, coffee and water?? Plus no discount for seniors or veterans???? Seems like we get no respect anymore. Very sad. Be prepared to shell out top dollar for food at full price, no discount at all. I heard about this place but didn't expect to pay extra. Be warned.
I drive 4.5 hrs at least 4 times a year to eat this chicken salad. There is no better chicken salad on the planet. If you are coming to Houston or you live in Houston, you better do everything in your power to come down and try this. It will change your whole life.
