December 15, 2021 Came in from Galveston to go to the Houston Botanical Garden a few blocks away and had time to kill so we stopped at the local bar in the barrio. And, I use that word because I know very little (por quito) Spanish and, this part of town is predominantly Hispanic and this bar reflects that culture in the sense of it's patrons, it's decor, murals that support their heritage and their city, Houston, etc, definitely an ole school dive. It sold pork skins and kettle chips with many (every kind) of hot sauce you could think of to top them. Yes! It has TV, music and 1 pool table They have steak night on Thursdays that the owner cooks out back They sell only beer and wine but you may be able to bring your own bottle because I saw set ups but, I dunno. Nice people. Laid back. Support local
