The food was amazing! I wish we could visit again, but we leave before they open. I had the Sweet & Tangy Brussels, Crab Puffs, Edamame, Enchiladas, and Bocaditos (Cocadas) for dessert. Since the entire restaurant is vegan, it was so hard to choose! 🌱😋 Updated from previous review on 2026-03-09

The restaurant offers some of the most delicious vegetarian dishes I have ever tried, along with a lovely selection of beers, including excellent local varieties, and a well priced, thoughtfully curated wine list. During happy hour, the wine becomes an especially good bargain.
We appreciated everything about this place - the people, the interior, and even the playlist, which featured a great selection of music that perfectly matched the atmosphere. It was a real pleasure to be looked after by Kirk, a warm, friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable gentleman. He guided us through the menu, shared insights about cultural events and music, and engaged us in a truly meaningful and enjoyable conversation.
It turned out to be one of the best dinners we have ever had in such a welcoming and charming setting - and all at remarkably affordable prices.

The food is absolutely delicious!

I think the only downside is using bad oils like canola.

I know beef tallow isn't vegetarian but it's definitely a much cleaner/healthier alternative.

Service is always on point!

Love The Ginger Mule! Great experience! Wait staff was knowledgable and courteous. We didn’t like our noodle soup but they were receptive of our feedback. Definitely will go back!

Best vegan restaurant I've been to. The heart of palm fish tacos, gyro, miso soup, and guava cheesecake were all so flavorful and satisfying. Chef's kiss

Once again, the food was delicious and original. Tried the new plantain crisp topped with black beans and veggies, which was excellent.

Love the place. Very impressed with the pancakes. Beautifully crisp on the outside and fresh pastry soft inside. We got the Medley and enjoyed the omelette and fruit. The French toast was delicious. Warm environment. Friendly staff.

The service and food was great. The tables are very close together and we could hear complete conversations. We waited about 30 minutes but the food and it's presentation was worth it.

They made my birthday so special and this was my first time trying out the restaurant. I found out about them from a food review from TikTok I was sent by someone I know.

If you're in the mood for a delightful vegan dining experience, look no further than The Ginger Mule. Having returned twice, I'm continually impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and the exceptional flavors crafted in every dish.

One standout dish has been the Mongolian Cauliflower paired with perfectly cooked fried rice. The cauliflower is tender and infused with a rich, savory sauce that elevates it to a whole new level. The fried rice complements it beautifully, providing a comforting and satisfying base.

The sweet potato fries are a must-try; they arrive crispy and golden, drizzled with a subtly sweet sauce that enhances their natural flavor. Each bite is a perfect blend of texture and taste that keeps you reaching for more.

For brunch or a light lunch, the avocado toast is simply delectable. It boasts a generous layer of creamy avocado, topped with fresh herbs and spices that create a refreshing harmony of flavors.

The sauces accompanying the dishes deserve special mention—they're inventive, packed with flavor, and enhance the overall dining experience.

Lastly, the customer service at The Ginger Mule is top tier. The staff is not only friendly but knowledgeable about the menu, eager to make recommendations and ensure you feel right at home.

In summary, The Ginger Mule offers a fantastic vegan culinary experience with standout dishes like the Mongolian Cauliflower and sweet potato fries, all served in a welcoming atmosphere with impeccable service. It’s a restaurant that keeps you coming back for more, and I can't wait for my next visit!
