be very careful what you order and what they're charging you. I got the smothered pork chop plate my husband got the oxtail plate it came with two vegetables cornbread and I did ask for tea. for two of us it cost us $65. I think we were being ripped off cuz we were old and white. if you are a white person be very careful. we expected a bill of about $30 instead it cost us $65. we can never afford to go back there again. my pork chop had very little meat on it and I don't know what the tea cost but they gave us two bottles of Snapple. which was not really what we wanted. so disappointed we drove a good 40 miles to get their soul food and instead we got ripped off.

Highway robbery. 42 dollars for a oxtail plate. Came 2 hours before closing and they ran out of most of everything. Oxtails are horrible and the Mac is soupy. Come try it for yourself.

Not understanding why is it every time I visit this restaurant they never have and cornbread or roll to go with your meal. I asked the server and they said they ran out. They never have enough bread of any kind to go with your meal. Sad....

I have always supported this place. Food quality has gone down tremendously and prices have gone up ridiculously.

I've been going to this restaurant for years. My family came here for lunch for a birthday in 2021, and we've regularly visited ever since. I've tried a lot of the menu, everything is excellent and fresh. The portions are great, and they never skimp on the oxtails. From the service to the food, I'll forever be a customer.

Food was very good, but they didn’t have what I wanted on the menu. They also were not serving any desserts.

Ordered herb-crusted chicken for an easy weeknight meal after work one day, it was amazing. Got it delivered but we will definitely be going to dine in-person as soon as possible!

Not the best food, 2nd time trying but for you Texas folk it might work. So give them a try. Very clean and organized just don't have the right taste and flavor for me..

My fiancé and I decided to try this place . We give it a 8/10 . Everything was delicious but the cabbage, it wasn’t seasoned to our liking. & the cornbread was cold , if it had been hot or warm it would’ve been amazing. The ladies were so friendly, the lady who fixed our food was super sweet and gave out nice size portions. We will definitely come back !

Smothered pork chops are so tender that I can cut through them with a plastic spoon. The gravy is thick and rich in flavor. Macaroni and cheese is amazing.
