What a great experience! It is a little bit curious that his location is inside an office building that appears to be a shopping mall but his place looks nice and he had soccer on the television. His food was great and he was friendly. He had a great selection of pastries. I will definitely be back.

We ordered our food from here for the holidays. It was as I remembered from my country with great service and the most friendly owners.I ordered last minute and they were able to get my order in time and cooked perfectly. I have not eaten at the restaurant but if it is as good as their take out you can’t go wrong.

Excellent!! The bills and food are delicious, whenever I can I go and buy to have bills for several days. The other day I had a Milanese with horse fries... a disappointment, the Milanese didn't fit on the plate... delicious. Highly recommended!!

Went here with a friend on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the Chivito sandwich. It was huge (plenty of food for both of us), absolutely delicious, and the pile of fries it came with was done just right as well.The location is on the ground floor of a multistory building, had to circle the block once to figure it out. I'm glad we found it though. Highly recommend.
Today we went to lunch with my husband and we really liked it. Warm, familiar climate and everything very delicious. The haddock excellent and the pizza very good.

I highly recommend The Horse & The Turtle! Everything is delicious! The atmosphere is very pleasant. The owner is amazing and very kind!
Alex (owner) was such a sweetheart. My coworker and I went in for lunch and we both got the roast beef special on Wednesday; roast beef, potatoes and yams. So so so good! The desserts looked good too but I had to decline or I wouldn’t have been able to finish my work.Update: came back the next day for the Paella special and once again was not disappointed and this time I ordered the carrot cake. 10 out of 10.

Awesome place recommended by my barber upstairs in the building! Walked into a wonderland of amazing pastries, fresh bread, desserts, French fries and empanadas. Went in for a Diet Coke... walked out with bags of goods! All amazing! Looking to have him cater my next get together! Definitely visit his Facebook page to see some of his amazing creations.

I have visited here researching on yelp and choose by photos. I guess some of photos are from pre-pandemic. Place is located in the office building and this place is the only convenience deli access. Nothing special about this place. But owner is very nice.

The only place that sells authentic Uruguayan bakery! I love the bizcochos!! They make me travel to childhood!! I strongly recommend this place the food is fresh. Most of the South American restaurants sell old stuff, here is fresh just coming out from the oven. I wish they could expand their business. We need authentic places here in Houston. Thank you all for providing us good and high quality food! ??
