I have known the place for 2 years, by accident one day I went with my wife, what to say every Tuesday, every week we go to eat there, the best place in all of Texas, it is worth driving my 20 miles to go and eat and always two consecutive years the same silver ribeye steak with mash potato and brown sauce and mushrooms

I have ordered almost everything from the menu. Let me tell you they have the most diversified menus and everything that I have ordered is a 10. Awesome food. I went there a long time ago, before 2000. I saw them on GrubHub. Ordered food and never regretted it for a second. If they had 10 stars it would be a 10... Order now, you won't regret it!

The only unique item here is the cigarette stench. The service is good and price reasonable, but the dogs themselves completely forgettable. Everything tasted straight outta Sysco: boring buns, tasteless mustard, peppers and relish jarred, canned chili, watery cheese, and the dogs tough and tasteless. They dont grill their dogs instead butterfly cut and stove top which makes them tough. I can see smokers coming here and rating the bar high for its atmosphere but as a restaurant, it doesnt pass mustard.
I feel like this has been the closest I've got to a legit Chicago hot dog, sport peppers and seasoning, was really good, the polish was also really good. Service was very friendly. Atmosphere was a cozy old-school bar, pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, full bar. This would be a neat place for an inexpensive date.

The Hot Dog Shop is worth checking out. Since 1985 they have been serving a wide range of Hot Dog styles including Chicago, Polish, Corn Dogs, Jersey, Fire and Footlong. Make your own original by selecting 4 free toppings.
They also have Burgers, Texas BBQ, and Salads and Sandwiches. Everyday has a "daily special" and you can't go wrong as most include sides like fries. They proudly brew Luzianne Ice Tea along with Coffee and soft drinks.
They are open early for Breakfast at 5:30am during the week with a famous Egg Breakfast Special. I was really surprised as they stay busy.
They have open seating that is straight from the 1970's and Includes a full bar. This place can be described as "divey" in a good way. It is a great Happy Hour spot with Darts and TV's for the game. Bring your friends and family and try the daily specials. Steak Night is popular starting at 7:00pm on Thursdays for only $22.
Had the footlong Chicago hotdog and it was nothing like it should have been . Vienna hotdogs have a reputation of poppy seed bun, real ingredients. Not on a French roll with subststitue ingredients and the dog was rubbery that can mean not Vienna or not cooked. French fries were dark brown that means the oil they were cooked in very old? Mmmmm. The place was filthy, floor utensils. Let's get Real !

The food here is great, exactly what you imagine it would taste like. Really good hot dogs, fantastic bratwursts, perfect chili cheese fries, and crispy fresh wings. I will definitely be back for the food! Owner is very nice and the makes the food fresh to order. The dive bar vibe is very 1990 so it's a fun blast from the past.

Well been there a couple of times but will never be back! Thursday is 1lb Rib EYE dinner special about 6:30 asked if we could order early instead of 7:00 witch the lady in the kitchen said (NO) NOW IT COMES WITH A SALAD AND WE WHERE IN THE BAR DRINKING SPENDING $$ NOT ONE PERSON IN RESTAURANT PART IVE WORKED IN THIS business for the last 50 years and I would think you would rather have people sitting eating your food wanting to come back then to push him away so I will not be back and the man I was with will not be back and all our friends will never be there you just lost out in a whole lot of money!!!
