I was in a rush and decided to stop in for a quick bite. This location can be a bit confusing as it’s named Hot Pot Ice Cream but it’s also M-Saigon Street Food. This is the type of spot you pay at the counter first and grab your own utensils etc. I was not interested in ice cream but was pleasantly surprised they sold Bò Né and man was it good! The plate came out sizzling and packed with flavor. The only reason I’m giving 4/5 stars is because the employees have been less than friendly on the two occasions I’ve visited. The food and drinks are great but definitely could use some work on the customer service side.

I was only a little hungry when I stopped by on the way home. They weren't too busy, so I got through pretty quick and ordered in. I got a couple of things from the street food part of the menu. The staff was great and helpful. The restaurant was clean and neat. The menu was very simple and easy to read. My only issues were the shrimp in the corn dish. It tasted alright, but they (shrimp) were almost non, existent and it wasn't stir fried 😅 It was all good, but I'll have to go back again to try some of the other items on the menu 👍

I came to M-Saigon Street Food for a function. Everything looked old. It was supposed to be grand opening. But I didn't feel it. It was another name before selling about the same thing. I would rather eat the ice cream more than the food on the menu. The menu was weird too.

Did not meet expectations. Food street but bad coffee, their Vietnamese coffee tastes worse than boba shop one . Not having everything as they advertised on their main sign

The food is decent .The outside karaoke was fun and enjoyable. The atmosphere was cool with friendly guests around. Especially the dj Khoa Vu worked so hard to make everyone happy. We came from California to visit relatives, for sure we will be there again on our next trip.

Durian avocado was a little too sweet but tonight was really fun with open karaoke in the parking lot. I guess they do this quite often on the weekends. Much older crowd but it was cool anyways.

Popcorn chicken not worth it...they are using frozen breaded chicken ..everything over price
The banh xeao was great. Just like in Vietnm. We had some Them Hung banh mi which I remember having 20 years ago. It was creamy and had plenty of carrots and radish. We had another plate with six small plates. That was the best. I forgot what it was called for desert, we had taro/cookies and cream/ tiramisu. I liked the taro best.

First time here, the service was good.
I got the meatball sandwich and strawberry smoothie, and it was great.
I didn't try the ice cream sadly, so I'll have to come back and try it. (*^ ‿ *)

Unfortunately this place didn’t live up to the expectations. Really cool thought but the food was ok, bathrooms were less than ok and honestly the place seemed dirty. The ice cream hot pot that was served look good. The ice cream was decent. I think lemon was our favorite. The cookies served were old and you could tell they have been open for a long time. The fruit was gross. It looks like it was spoiled.

I called 30 minutes ahead to order a few bánh mì for to go and told them I'll be there in 30 minutes. I even came 10 minutes after the given time to give them more time to prepare. I drove from my house, which took 20 minutes, to come pick up the bánh mì. When arrived, I told them that I'm here to pick up the bánh mì. The staff was confused and wasn't even aware of the order except for the girl who took the order on the phone. That was already the first sign. Then, she went to the kitchen and came back telling me that " the kitchen was out of the bánh mì and didn't notify them of the outage." So I told them I called more than 30 minutes ago so it should have been ready even before I arrive. They still said that the kitchen was out of the bánh mì 30 minutes ago and didn't notify them so they didn't know until now. That to me didn't make sense. Once she got my order there should have been a ticket made sent to the kitchen to prepare. If the kitchen didn't have the bánh mì, then once the kitchen saw the order sent they would have said something. That means that either the girl was incompetent to get the order and have it sent to the kitchen or the communication between the kitchen and front staff is incoherent. They didn't even check up on the order to see if the food was done or not. Even if they realized they didn't have the bánh mì, they didn't have the decency to call me that they didn't have the bánh mì before I made the drive wasting my gas and time. You guys need to re-train the staff to properly get and prepare the order or replace a whole new system to have better communication between the kitchen staff and front staff. I do appreciate the guy with glasses trying to help solve the problem and diffuse the situation. Other than that, such incompetent staffs and systems.

We went to try out this place this past Saturday. It is under a new management from the banh mi owner from Thiem Hung banh mi. So their sign haven't been updated, and the same goes with the decoration. Just note that the banh mi sold here is an extra .50 extra ($6.50) compared with the shop at Thiem at $6, but they are the same size. I got the hot plate beef, meatballs, and egg, which also included a free sugarcane juice for a price of $16.50, which is not bad. The food was not bad. However, we were pretty thirsty afterward.
