Never ate the food and never will. #1 because of other reviewers. #2 me and my family of four walked in to dine about 5:10 and was told they weren't taking anymore dine in after 6! We all got and left and will NEVER return. It's no mystery why we dont support this type of establishment.
I will gladly take back the one star rating, but drove from downtown Houston only to find the restaurant closed. Then went to Krack Kitchen and the same thing happened. Is it just Pearland restaurants that don't keep their posted hours? Disappointed because the menus looked good.
Unfortunately we were at the right place. The restaurant is in the same building as the Chevon gas station. The chalk board in the picture, with the hours listed, was just inside the door. We we there at 5pm and there were no lights on and when we called the phone number it went straight to voicemail. Also tried logging on to the website and got an "Website Expired" message.
Wait was long for us to have been the only customers. Got the Surf and Turf pasta and the skin wasn’t removed from the Salmon. I think the grossest part was the feathers on the chicken. When brought to the attention, there was no feedback, no apologies and no comp of that particular meal. Overall just wasn’t impressed and for the price of the food it just wasn’t worth it.

Waited for 45minutes and my food came out cold…. How is that even possible? Unfortunately, it wasn’t good either. The sauce didn’t have flavor and the chicken either. Still lost on how my food came out cold af and waiting 45 minutes. The wings were okay, but unfortunately they had so many feathers and it was gross. I won’t be back.

The food took an hour to come out and there was only one more table ahead of us, my husband ordered rice with oxtail and yams and after an hr of waiting he got oxtails and it’s Mac and cheese and no yams… slow and over priced for the quality of the food and the service …to top it off our food was brought out in to go boxes after we said we were dinning in and waiting at a table …

Dined here this past weekend. I admit I was skeptical but was encouraged to just try it. Wow!! I’m glad I did. Our waiter Chase was on it. Prompt, friendly, checked on us several times to make sure all was well and ensured we were satisfied with the meal. The food was DELISH!!! I’m not usually a shrimp and grits person but OMG and the 2 nice size pieces of fish were fried to perfection. And the signature Mimosa. I left, full and happy.
I wish you all much success.. I will definitely be back!!

A must try if you’re looking for a good creole brunch. I suggest going on Sunday’s as Chase is such a sweetie pie and an attentive server. The food was fresh and flavorful so please don’t let the location deter you!
Parking: Shared parking with gas station somewhat limited.

If you want a good Cajun dish for a reasonable price I strongly suggest trying The LaRoux Table. The name is strange and it shares a location with a gas station… The music is loud and the server doesn’t come around very often… There was no gumbo or fried catfish… The food that was available was great! Look at the pictures! Just the right amount of spicy with excellent flavor! This is the kind of “hole in the wall” that keeps me eating at gas station restaurants!

Food and drinks were good. Our server, Simone, was great!! She recommended a bunch of places for us to check out while we were in town from Detroit.

Do not be fooled by the outside of this place. Yes its off the highway and next to a gas station, however....I'm not from Houston, and maybe the locals know about this. If not, it maybe the best kept secret. The food here was so amazing. I couldn't believe I wasn't in New Orleans. This mother and son team here are legit! The service was wonderful. The food was amazing and they even had a French Connection on the drink menu which was the first time I've ever saw that. If you're in the area its a must stop and yes I will be returning. Lamp chops and grits, that was the first time I've ever seen that on a menu. The Mardi Gras Pasta was the best pasta I've ever eaten. Trust me, you guys know I'm a eater, this place is the truth. Can't wait to go back.
