Food tasted well but the overall experience was lacking for the price point. The portions were small. An $18 Old Fashion had medium grade liquor and crushed ice instead of a single-clear ice cube. Also, we were not provided a menu or the price of alcoholic beverages until the receipt. The ambiance was nice except for the Spotify commercials playing in between classical music. Our waiter started strong but then finished off mediocre. We were going to order dessert but the waiter took too long getting back to us so we decided to end the night there. The people at the bar were loud. Given all the great restaurants in Houston, we'll try other establishments for future date nights.

Very delicate snapper Evangeline. Great service. Greated and acknowledged right away which isn't a given anymore. Staff not hiding around the corner or on the phone, they actually speak to you...

We have been coming here for years - maybe 25? It is a small, neighborhood restaurant with very warm service. Hussein the owner is always there and always greets you like a long time friend. The bar service is great and the food is always really good. And if you want something off the menu it is almost impossible to stump them.

Excellent Service, relaxing ambiance and delicious food. I had the the shrimp appetizer, pan seared branzino with sautéd shrimp, veggies and scallop potatoes. Also a Nice glass of a smooth cab. The food was so yummy, I wanted to lick the plate. ?

Has become one of our favorite spots for a romantic dinner, entertaining friends, or celebrating special times. We have never been disappointed. Been in business since 1994 and I can understand why. Reminiscent if the days when you we’re welcomed to a restaurant and made to fell like they were glad and appreciated you came. Never feel rushed or that they are just trying to “turn the table”. Cypriano, our usual waiter, is friendly, attentive and always has suggestions to try and many times we leave our selections to him. The last appetizer he suggested was a trio of Shrimp Scampi, Scallop With Raspberry Glaze and Crab Cake with Hollandaise. The NY Strip with Peppercorn Sauce is superb. The lamb chops are perfectly cooked and seasoned. Only problem with the Pork Chop is that it is so generous, we always need to bring some home. The fish is always flakey and flavorful. The desserts are a must try. Last visit we sampled the Chocolate Mousse Cake and Bread Pudding aka mode. Definitely enough to share with 4…and oh so GOOD!!! Definitely keeping it on my “go-to list” whenever needing a quiet restaurant for a special occasion…and “wanting to impress”!!

Great new find, it is a small hidden gem. Food is amazing so is the service. My wife and I came with our 7 year old daughter to celebrate her birthday. They made her a kids meal for her. She loved it. We had the new york strip and the beef tenderloin. Everything was perfection.

Order: 10It was rather hot in the restaurant, we arrived at 5 PM on September 23, 2023. The butter was Frozen, made it very difficult to apply on bread without tearing up the bread. The music was felicitous to fine dining. Food was ambrosial, bread as devine. Will be returning soon. Thank You. Mimosas were satisfying, but upmarket.

Consistently good food & service. Interestingly enough, this is the 1st time they ever gave us menus without being asked for them.
