Went here with a large group excited for a new place. No one was at the front desk. The one employee who did come out was incredibly rude. This place thinks it's better than you. It does not want you. Don't give then your business.
i got the coconut matcha and ube rain. both drinks were not good. the quality of the matcha was not good. the ube rain tasted like nothing but coffee, can’t taste the ube at all. overall experience was underwhelming. they had a bunch of showrooms of what appears to be art installations? or just showcases of furniture? i’m not too sure. we came in and it was dark and completely quiet, i wondered if they closed early. barista barely said a word and music started playing after like 15 minutes. overall just mediocre drinks, creepy vibes, quiet, confusing.
Nice spot to chill and read.
Flat white latte was the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Tasted like it was made with burnt coffee that’d been sitting for 3 days.
They were completely out of milk options so they had to make the latte with oat milk, which made it 10x worst tasting.
$5.50 for a disgusting coffee that was served in a paper cup, no lid (they were also out of lids), and the cup was the size of a sample cup from a hotel lobby. Think Hilton or HolidayInn free cup from the lobby.
Barista was short and not tuned in. Overall bad experience. Not sure how this place has good reviews. Avoid wasting money.
Very odd place. I am a sucker for art and coffee and so I thought this place would be awesome to see and had been excited to visit after the hype on insta.
The coffee and tea are on the high end - 7$ a cup for most drinks on the menu. I am no stranger to paying 5-8$ for coffee but when it’s above 5$ I expect a little more than to be handed a plastic cup that’s spilling everywhere. Also i would rate the coffee itself to be at about 3/10. I got the ube and it was laughable. Just plain coffee with purple syrup on the sides. The hibiscus tea? It comes in a tea bag and they “attempt” to steep it right there in ice water so unsurprisingly it was watery and not sweet at all. Service was okay.
Now upstairs: The art was weird and usually I like weird art. But this was not it. It seemed they were trying too hard to be ironic? The poems were uncomfortable, but the art along with the poems was okay, however the other art installations were not good. The rooms were oddly shaped, and there were no employees anywhere. The furniture was oddly placed. It almost seemed like a bunch of people came together with different ideas that they’d found on Instagram of what a cool coffee shop looked like and attempted to replicate it.
Very strange. Too expensive. Not worth the drive.
Such a cute vibe honestly. Kinda packed and tight and little bit creepy but cool. It sucks that the barista was inattentive and kinda dismissive to me and my friend and had a side conversation going the whole time but overall wasn’t a terrible experience
Music selection from dj was top tier
It’s alright, the “coffee shop” is basically a very small room with very little seating that’s also very uncomfortable. Coffee is overpriced and below mid.
In a nutshell:
- place is cool
- coffee is ok, Eadough and Elements are way better
- expensive and very little coffee
- barista forgot my order
- loud and noisy
Tried visiting today at 1pm and was unable to open the door. The window decal looked removed and I believe it's closed. No signage that it was closed. Maybe I was missing something?
Restaurantji Recommends
Was looking forward to trying this spot but NOT ANYMORE! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Most people search restaurants via social media to scope out their food/drink scene, NOT to have the restaurants political views shoved down their throats. The owner of the restaurant loves turning away money and censoring the comments on their social media account that doesn’t agree with his far left agenda. And judging from others experience here, he is not just a rude, keyboard warrior but also an aggressive, angry man with a huge inferiority complex. I can understand why you want Kamala to win, since you run customers away with your rudeness… I guess you will need her government handouts to survive. 🤲🏼
Hidden gem! Super cute and quiet. Good space to work. Coffee was delicious!
this place is pretty cool, nice people and cute! the only downside is my boyfriends latte with half and half was expired.. in fact it was curdled and sour. Accidents are accidents though I understand..
So lovely! Great coffee, great atmosphere ❤️
Was looking to try new coffee shops & came across this place. Their coconut matcha is so good! Coming back to try their other drinks!
