Really nice restaurant. The food and the service were very good. The wait staff made great recommendations, and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. The ambiance was also very nice.
The dishes' portions were rather small for their prices, but I suppose that's par for the course. The food itself was fine but a bit underwhelming. The service was good.
Love this oasis of a restaurant. Conveniently located but feels like a world away. Interesting menu with unique flavor combinations - loved it!
As a qualifier, my husband was a professionally trained chef who worked in California. The sauce on the gemelli was delicious and very well made. Sauciers are not easy to find, but you clearly have a chef/saucier who pays attention to real flavor. Thanks so much!
Does this look like the sticky toffee pudding you see in the restaurant pictures ?
A lot of flavor lacking in all the other dishes . Not enough vegetarian options . Not worth the calories !
Also was charged for the table next to me, I had the waitress correct it , but I was still charged for the other table . Had to dispute with credit card company

Food just really wasn't that impressive. Looks better in the pictures than it tastes. Friend had to add salt and red pepper to wake up the flavor in her pasta. Not worth the price if you ask me . I'd rather cook at home
This was our first experience at the Lymbar. The food was artfully prepared and extremely flavorful. The service was friendly, brisk and efficient. Reservations are helpful, especially on the weekend, as the restaurant is modest in size.
The atmosphere was very beautiful and the food was delicious I will be coming back and they had the best tres leche cake I've ever had it was so moist and delicious. The place was a 20 out of 10
The food was 9/10! Dessert was amazing. Price was very affordable, definitely have to come again!
This was my first time dining at the Lymbar. My friend and I went during Houston Restaurant Weeks. The restaurant is nice although I thought this place was bigger based on photos I had seen on the website. The crema poblano soup was very good, the pollo encamisado was very good and the dark chocolate torte with a caramel sauce and whipped cream was amazing. My only complaint is that I was seated for about 10-15 minutes before a server arrived to ask me if I wanted anything to drink while I waited on my friend to arrive. Otherwise, I enjoyed my dining experience and will go back again.

HRW menu was very good, with plenty of choices. However, the servings looked smaller than what was pictured on socmed, nevertheless, flavor was great. We ordered two rounds of drinks and they were average, at best. It was watered down with ice and didn't have a lot of flavor. Our server (did not catch her name) was good and did not hover too much.
They had an event and couldn't seat us at a regular table, so we sat at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and a great server. I had the Pablano soup and Empanadas trio. Exceptional all the way around.
