My fiancé and I had an incredible evening at The Melting Pot! We chose the 4-course dinner and loved every bite—from the savory cheese fondue to the decadent dessert. I chose the Land & Sea for the dinner entree! Our server was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel special. Perfect spot for a romantic night out. Highly recommend!

We have been Melting Pot customers for more than 20 years. Last night was a disappointment. First of all, a very loud, rude party was allowing their small children to run around the restaurant. This would be bad enough in a standard restaurant, but kids playing chase in a space with hot oil on tables was not cool at all. This occurred about 7:15pm and it happened a number of times. Although we were seated at the very back of the restaurant, the area became part of these children's game and was disruptive (and dangerous) to our dinner. Second, we had to ask for our server twice to replenish items and order a second round of drinks. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, and this isn't the service that the Melting Pot is known for; normally servers check in every 10 minutes to see if more dippers or sauces or drinks are needed. Not last night! We had to ask people to track him down. And finally, I will always tip well on good service and 15% on average service, but please check the math on your self service terminals. They are inflating the tip by adding the tip on top of the tax, not pre-tax, which is standard for tips. I look forward to your response. Email is the best way to reach me.

I was there with 5 friends. It was so much fun. The waiter was great and made sure we had a good time. Service was on point and fast.

I would really love to know why our waitress, Brieana, who we will run from if we ever visit again (she was SUPER sarcastic), didn't tell us about Houston Restaurants week until she brought the bill! $63 vs $39 is a big difference. We asked about the 3 course meal before we even ordered! She said it wasn't available! The guests in my party were super upset. Kinda felt like she did it on purpose. I don't plan on returning. Would love it if I could get a reply of why this even happened. 😡
And yes we were there before the offer was over. She actually informed us that it was over the next day. Gee thanks. Handed us our bill & walked away.

Love, love love this place. The Melting Pot has become a family tradition for celebrating my daughter's birthday! We recently visited to celebrate my daughter's 17th birthday and couldn't have been more pleased with our visit. Our server, Leslie, was absolutely wonderful! Her friendly and welcoming spirit was refreshing and so greatly appreciated.

Leslie was very attentive and did a great job of making my daugher feel special as we celebrated her birthday. I was so pleased with Leslie's great service that I shared my experience with her manager Dustin. Dustin was also great in wishing my daughter a Happy Birthday and making sure we had a great dining experience.

Definitely would recommend visiting as the food quality is consistently good and the service is great! This will continue to be a staple in our birthday celebrations.

Been a customer of TMP for a decade going at least once a year. Over the past 18 months it is clear our money doesn't go as far. 1. Cheese fondue no longer made table side. 2. The small talk and chit chat is kept to a minimum. 3. Dessert is fully made in the kitchen unlike before where it was 50/50. 4. They used to put rose petals and a candle on the table complimentarily for anniversaries along with a piece of cheesecake in addition to the regular dessert ordered (our main visit annually). This has been the case with 4 visits at 2 locations in separate states. Same price for downgraded experience. Take down the pointless plastic barriers. Take off the masks. Won't be returning to any location.

Went for Houston Restaurant Week on a Tuesday and it was the perfect time to go. Food was great an ambiance was amazing.

This location is in a rough part of town and it's very difficult to get parking. The service is never the best but never the worst. Bar drinks don't come out the best but it is what it is. My wife loves this place so we come a few times a year but it's never my favorite.

We have been going to the Melting Pot for years. Do like how they keep updating the menu while keeping older favorites around.

The food was delicious as always and our allergies were well taken care of. Johnson was such a delight to have as our waiter— we will definitely be requesting him in the future!

We were greeted warmly and our reservations (although 30 minutes into The future) they sat us right away... I booked Date night for my husband and myself- (37 years together 34 married) so we had balloons, chocolate wafers & a teddy bear waiting for us at the table. We started with Blackberry sage Lemonade & Sprite. Then had the alpine cheese- a little thick but amazing flavor & extra garlicky- Yum. Along with the cheese we had - vegetables ( broccoli, cauliflower & carrots) and pretzel bread- I then had the Strawberry salad with feta & pecans with spinach - then shared a main of The Classic - but substituted the shrimp & chicken for more Memphis Dry Rub Pork & Teriyaki Beef. Mushrooms with Green Goddess, tempura batter & panko bread crumbs - a special order of Mushroom Ravioli & all the other veggies ( potatoes, broccoli) - all very fresh tasting - of course you are doing the cooking- but every item was prepared beautifully- meat was clean - not muddy looking, very well seasoned and cut appropriately for bite size. Pork was very well seasoned. We did not indulge in dessert because by the time we got to that part of the meal- we were deliciously full. It was great atmosphere- quiet but the waiters were very solicitous. Took exceptional care of us! I would recommend this restaurant for a one of a kind dining experience. A great place to take a first date.
