I went here during their 40 yr anniversary thing. We had reservations and were seated right away. We tried the special celebration menu. The service was pretty good throughout the dinner and the ambience is great. I wasn't the biggest fan of their cheese fondue but their special chocolate fondue is out of the world. The main course was also decent. Normally would rank it 4 star ( very solid) but it's definitely a bit steep so that's why I'll probably have it...
Our waiter wasn't very attentive we watched other employees at other tables and the difference between our waiter and others was day and night. We took friends for Christmas Eve dinner expecting a special night and we were highly disappointed. The presentation lacked food was good however timing was way off. For the price I paid the experience should have been better.
We've been celebrating New Year's Eve at the Melting Pot for about 20 years now. Was very good as usual last night. The fairly fixed menu on New Year's is very nice and makes ordering easy. Enjoy the various add on that are available such as the rose buds on the table.
