Monks is the place for Indo-chinese food. The other option is Alings but I find it expensive. Monks I have been to the new location at Richmond and twice at the one at the one on Westheimer. The Richmond location is new, bigger and more clean but biggest drawback is the food takes about an hour after order. Westheimer is super fast service and same taste. Also, one of the advantages is that you can carry your own alcohol which would save you $$$. Must try - burnt garlic fried rice chicken, Chicken hakka noddles. Chicken Manchurian is good too. Chicken lollipop is above average. Maybe avoid non Indo Chinese dishes - we tried Mutton Sukka and I probably won't order that again. The quantity of food is lot, so please do keep that in mind

Hotel is not clean. They won’t take the plates and clean the other tables. You have to watch the others left over plates while eating. They served old chicken for appetizers. Don’t go by ratings. I would not recommend this hotel even for my enemy.

One of our favorite places for Indo Chinese food. The quantity is large for every dish that you get. We have always ordered online but visited once. The ambience is bright and vibrant. The service is fast and good. Our favorites include the manchow soup, tandoori chicken momos, hakka noodles and the manchurian.
