Visiting Houston and was looking for somewhere to eat breakfast. The hostess was nice but the server was rudeWe was asking what she recommended for drinks and food, she was just rude and put in two drinks that we asked about but didn’t say we was getting. When she realized we didn’t want them she had an attitude. We ask another lady to have the manager come over to us, and the manager was the waitress that was helping us ( to the rude lady.Long story short we got up and walked out.ZERO STARS FROM ME

Arrived at 1pm for brunch and they were out of toast and hamburgers. Even their signature burger. Do not recommend. Service was good breakfast potatoes were cold biscuits and gravy was bland no salt or pepper on tables.

Unfortunately Moonshiners has gone down hill. We moved in the building near moonshiners a few months ago and this was one of our regular spots- but the past 3 times now the food is not good at all. All the fried food has been so soggy and I felt like I had covid again when I lost my taste when I ate their biscuits. The staff is always really friendly but I don’t think we’ll be going back again. 3 bad experiences is enough.

Food was awesome. It came out fast which we appreciated because we were really hungry. Service was excellent, and really enjoyed being there.

Have you ever been to a restaurant where they bring out the food for one of you and the other person has to wait for the food. Awkward isn't it?But what if they've forgotten to put through the order for the other person’s food. Even more awkward right? But what if they’ve also now run out of the thing you both ordered, so there was only one in the first place. Super awkward now isn’t it?You have your meal, the other person has nothing and hasn’t ordered anything yet.You have to return your meal because you don’t want to eat while the other person can’t. No solutions offered, they just closed out the bill and charged full price for our two glasses of wine.Service is a mess and needs to be looked at urgently.Avoid.

We’ve travelled over 2 weeks from New York to Texas and this is the only bad experience we’ve had anywhere.Ordered 2 fillet steaks. One arrived. Asked about the other and eventually someone came and told us she only heard us order one despite the ‘I’ll have the same’ and ‘both medium’ requests. So now seemingly they only have one so can’t make another. No offer to see the menu again or anything to rectify the situation. To add insult to injury, we were asked for payment for the 2 glasses of wine without bringing a bill, which I had to ask to see.To top of a bad experience, our Mastercard which we’ve had no issue with in any store, hotel or restaurant over 2 weeks, seemingly wouldn’t work.Looked like the manager was asking the server what the issue was over at the bar, not that she showed face anywhere near us mind you. You'd think by now they might just have comped the wine. Nah, that would be good service eh!
