Great, friendly service from the counter, it wasn't too busy when I went, so there was lots of room to sit & good atmosphere. I had the Choripan with a side salad and it was fresh, tasty, and exactly what I was looking for after a hard day at the office. I've been going for years and this is what I've come to experience from this Marini's location.

I have been a Marini's fan for over forty years. Long enough to remember their original location in Montrose

Not my first time, but it’s been so long I couldn’t remember what I had before, so I tried an assortment: Beef Gaucho, Spinach, Tuna, Linda’s Chicken, and Chuckwagon.
The Beef Gaucho was by far the best mix of flavors - the savory beef, olives, onions and a few chunks of hard boiled egg. The pastry shell is thin and crunchy; the filling is succulent.
The spinach was the second best, with gooey cheese and well cooked spinach so it isn’t stringy or difficult to bite. A little underseasoned, but that’s what the chimichurri sauce is for.
The tuna was too fishy for me.
Linda’s Chicken was fine; a little spicy. Not too exciting otherwise.
The Chuckwagon was also fine.
They have a wide variety of flavors, so I’ll be back to try others and find my other favorites.
To sum up, the Beef Gaucho is the only one I’d definitely order again. Maybe the spinach. The others I’m glad to have tried but wouldn’t order again.

Marini’s has some amazing empanadas with so many different flavors to choose from. My personal favorite is the Texas barbecue empanada, but I always end up getting the Sneaker empanada for dessert too — you have to try it! Great food, great flavor, and definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

These are so good. Over the years I've visited and each time I've tried new things. Yesterday might have been my favourite so far. I had the chicken poblana and the spinach. They were amazing. The chicken poblana tastes like spicy mole and the onion and garlic in the spinach are cut really small (good for someone like me who doesn't like onion). For dessert, I had their Nutella and banana. All in all- 10/10.

Would go back here 1000 times. Marini herself (85 years old) came out herself to give us cookies like we were her grandkids

I’m a frequent visitor at The Original Marini’s Empanada House, and it never disappoints. The empanadas are consistently excellent, I’d even say they’re some of the best in the city. They always come out fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the service is quick and efficient every time I visit.
On my most recent trip, I ordered four empanadas: Beef Gaucho, Spinach, Ham and Cheese, and Texas BBQ. Each one was just as good as I’ve come to expect.
You also have to try their alfajores, they’re absolutely excellent. The front bakery area offers a variety of fresh items worth checking out as well. This place has a lot of history and culture behind it, which really adds to the overall experience. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area.
