Read through my reviews, I’m very particular about my food. I honestly can’t understand how this place only gets 4.5 stars. My burger was absolutely delicious and juicy. The beef patty was seasoned wonderfully and the bacon was very high quality, with a smoky flavor. Fries were cooked perfectly and the Cajun seasoning is great! Definitely will revisit this burger joint.

Yall have changed the buns the new one suck I can't have sesame seed the meat is a lot smaller we had ants on our table the girl cleaned it you're changing the buns meat and up the prices we loved going there not sure if I will be back stop being cheap your burgers use to be great can't say that now oh the music on the TV was so loud

Honestly dont know how this location stays open with so many wrong orders. I'm assuming its all to-go orders but it's almost like kitchen staff is doing it on purpose. I quit ordering for the shop because of all the complaining about wrong orders... Today, By myself I order a #2 with mustard no lettuce , simple. I get back to work and I have a #1 with mayo. I am done with this location!

Good place for food but the order on my food was done wrong after i placed a call for my lunch brake added chili to my burger and i got charged more and was not added to my burger other than that burger is pretty good

I accidentally ordered from wrong one so got there late. They redid my fries 🍟 which I was grateful for I had the Jr cheese burger 🍔 😋 was good but the wings and fries and burger were very salty 🧂 other then that the place is clean service was great 👍.

Hippo Burgers in Houston is the real deal. From the first bite, you can tell they take burgers seriously. The patties are juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked right, the buns are fresh, and every topping tastes like it was chosen on purpose, not just thrown on for show. This is comfort food done right.
The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the food actually looks like the pictures—which already puts them ahead of the game. On top of that, the staff is friendly, fast, and clearly proud of what they’re serving.
If you’re looking for a solid, no-nonsense burger that hits every time, Hippo Burgers deserves a permanent spot in your Houston food rotation.
They even have a wifi if you need to get some work done also.
