We preferred to sit outside, since the spring weather was just perfect. The food was delicious and the outdoors atmosphere was very pleasant.

Excellent comfort food with lots of regulars. Service and ambiance is cozy and welcoming. This also used to be the Busy Bee liquor store in the 70's where my mom bought her booze,

We came around 5 pm in a weekday after school for a special treat for my daughter doing well at the school a block away with the same mascot. Place was empty but me and my kid were seated in the bar area. Main dining area was pretty full when we left. The blackened chicken pasta is actually minced chicken on pasta. Not actual pieces of chicken. And those small minced bits are not blackened. Super Dry. And no flavor. Not sure how they get away calling it blackened chicken. Honestly it tasted like a can of tuna fish dumped on spaghetti with some diced tomato’s sprinkled on top. And there’s no complimentary bread either for the pasta. Burger was ok. Definitely better but also not great. But the fries were just lukewarm. At the prices charged it’s a shame. Calling Gordon for a makeover.
The wonderful food and casually pleasing atmosphere go so well together. The cedar plank salmon and rainbow trout were just great!

Sep-27: Nice ambience on the covered patio with fans. Dog friendly. Really attentive service. Mesquite grilled redfish (fresh fish of the day) had a nice char (a few areas of dryness), grilled shrimp pasta was very good with the shrimp also mesquite grilled. Cocktails were just ok. Reasonable prices for quantity and quality

Raven Grill is always consistent with a good vibe and delicious food. The vegetarian options are a bit limited, but the migas at brunch and the sweet potato enchiladas on their main menu are both stellar. Service is consistently good with a regular staff of familiar faces.

Providing a standard of excellence for over 25 years. You can expect quality of food consistently. I had the strawberry salad with vinaigrette with salmon and avocado sides. Well prepared, a first for me. My normal go-to is the sweet potato & spinach enchiladas. Wait staff is always friendly in a quiet atmosphere.
Kudos to Rob and his wife.

I really thought this was a great place after my first visit. Good food and the service seemed great. So I chose this restaurant for Father's Day, and we went for dinner the night before.
When I had inquired about reservations, I was told that they don't take them for parties less than 6. So, the 4 of us showed up early for dinner without a reservation, and asked for one of two empty tables by the window. My parents asked first, and were told that they had already been "reserved." But they were 4-seat tables, so we asked, how is this possible? We were told that two separate parties had called dibs on them via telephone. But isn't that a reservation? I tried asking again, but got the same response.
We decided to let it go, but as we sat in our not-so-great location, we noticed an hour later that three tables by the window remained open (including the two that were empty when we got there). No one ever showed up, and no one asked if we would like to move to either of the (empty) tables we had asked for. Later, someone told us that two of the empty tables (which were totally separate and never put together) had originally been meant to be joined for a party of more than 6. So we got two different stories too (insert face palm).
We made the best of our dinner, in spite of feeling confused and annoyed for most of it. Probably won't be back, as there are tons of restaurants in this city with better vibes and hospitality.
