Loved this place...just wished they offered some appetizers. I gave 4 stars cuz it took awhile for our drinks to come out but the waitress gave us a free shot. The live jazz was the best thing.

Fabulous place to get really good cocktails. The atmosphere is something really magical, with space design to tell stories, great lights and bar. But unique feature is live music, really gives another dimension. Cocktails can be crafted based on your preference while their choice is also amazing. Price is standard. Plenty of parking.

for context, I am a blind person—this experience takes place on the night of Saturday February 17, 2024. As I Take a seat at the bar—The loud volume of both live and DJ music diminishes the cozy intimate environment of the place. Nearing the end of my first pour—I patiently waited 30 minutes to place a second order, however, with no acknowledgment as to the whereabouts of my bartender I decided it would be best to take my leave. It is for this very reason that I pride myself in closing my tab After each drink. Unbeknownst to me, my bartender Took it upon themselves to keep my tab open. As I Converse outside of the establishment’s doors with the manager and security guard—the bartender witnessing the exchange added and created a drink on my tab proclaiming under false pretenses that the second drink that I ordered is ready. The icing on the cake, the bartender’s excuse when confronted by the Manager for not being attentive to my needs is as follows, “he seemed engrossed in conversation with other patrons; Therefore, I did not want to bother him.“ The manager took this as a reasonable response—removing said drink while closing my tab.

WHAT an amazing atmosphere. The drinks are the best drinks I’ve had, the tall bartender is SO attentive, QUICK, super nice and makes amazing cocktails. I LOVE the live jazz bands!!! It’s such a sexy place. I have been there multiple times and it has been a top tier experience every single time. Coming back soon and bringing friends with me. ( the masks are from New Year’s party they had!)

One of the best cocktail lounges in Houston. Attentive, perfect low lumen/warm lighting, wood paneled walls, nondescript, a piano in the corner, polished glassware, suspender'ed bartenders, and always, exceptionally executed classic and riffed cocktails. Why this place isn't packed to the gills like Anvil in Montrose, is beyond me, but you should go to this Wonder establishment and join its civil crowd. High brow. Low key.
Drove 40 minutes into Houston to see the live jazz music, and we were told that there was a 2 drink minimum of alcoholic drinks per person (i don’t drink alcohol) and the guy told me that there’s a minimum spend of $30 per person, so if I spent $30 without tip, I could come in. I thought this was crazy… spend $30 worth of coke or coffee or tea??? They don't have food. This should have been written somewhere because finally he suggested that we go to another bar because they were saving tables for “the cocktail experience”. Ouch!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping by the Ready Room to meet up with friends, enjoy a fun and unique drink, listen to live music and soak up the ambience. Six of us arrived for happy hour, and service was outstanding! The owners, waitstaff VERY accommodating. They open at 5pm. I do not think reservations are available. They do have an outside covered seating area. Parking was ample for a Thursday night. They do not serve food. Overall - definitely a repeat!
