One of the best to-go hotel breakfasts I have had in the United States, the toats was super fresh which rarely happens, the fruit and yogurt was filling and made with a few unique ingredients and the service was wonderful.

A traditional bar with old school, serious luxury.Having a drink at the bar and being able to chat with Harry Spitzer, the bartender, who has forged part of the history of the Remington Bar at the St. Regis Houston hotel for almost 20 years, is a pleasant experience. As the saying goes "A classic bartender is just a pharmacy".The drinks are served with rigor. The food, overwhelming.Carpaccio, tiraditos, salads and good desserts.

Harry is the epitome of bartending professionals. I hope places like this last forever. You can talk without yelling and any TV is secondary to the

I couldn't find a more dismal hotel bar than this one. The dining room was 100% empty in the several hours we were there. The poor bartender was overwhelmed with virtually no help. The food was terrible. As a final note, they open large format bottles of wine without a Coravin in an empty restaurant. Since nobody was drinking red wine, some poor fool gets old wine in a day or two.

Nice place to have a drink if you are staying at the hotel. They have a couple of tvs that you can watch a game. The Bloody Mary was kind of different. The color was a bit brown. I was asked if I wanted tequila or vodka. I chose tequila since that was what the description had.The bar is kind of cool. It has a dark look and feels like you are in a dark steakhouse bar. The bartenders there were great. Heard one say he was working there since the late 70s or something crazy like that.

They used to have the best dance bands on weekends. No more since Pandemic. Elegant place though!

The bar has a old basment-y smell to it. We arrived Friday right when it opened. Due to our room not being available and my husbands Ambassador Elite status we were promised an upgraded room and complimentary drinks from the bar.I ordered a cosmopolitan and my husband ordered Johnny walker black. We were the only guest as it was very early in the evening. My drink was great. I remember coming here in January and the cosmo was terrible so that was a pleasant surprise. For a snack I ordered the chicken sandwiches which were decent. The painting and overall design of the bar is very chic and classy. The smell just needs to be eliminated.

Harry, the bartender in the bar, is a legend. I just wish they would bring back music on weekends.

A hidden gem. The food is amazing! The filet is my favorite, even better than Taste of Texas! Don’t be put off by the dated look, the chef is world-class!

This place will take you back to a classic steak house, the white table clothes, the elegantly dressed staff and the high quality of offerings make it very special.

At the beginning of the week, I called and made a reservation for 6 people for a business lunch on Friday. The first 2 members of our party got there and were told the restaurant was closed and we could eat in the bar from the bar menu. There was no record of the reservation and no notice that the restaurant was taken for an event. They left and we joined them around the corner where another restaurant could accommodate us. Won't be back.

We ate breakfast daily at the restaurant and drinks nightly at the bar and had a fabulous experience! Delicious food, excellent service at both the restaurant and the bar. We tried the Benedict, omelet, pancakes, burrito for breakfast, all hot and tasty. Our server Ron has worked at the St Regis for 27 years and he was friendly and efficient an excellent employee. Every evening we had cocktails and some dinners at the bar. Again excellent drinks, food and service. The bartender has worked here 31 years. Priced in line with a St Regis, they care about their guests which is RARE today. Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the restaurant/bar both need remodeled.
