I like rice box, I come here often. Today my experience angered me but I don’t argue with people that make my food. I understand this location gets busy but I have a 30 minute lunch break so I attempted to call ahead. The first 2 times I called, no answer. 3rd time I called , a guy answered, I got 3 words out and he hung up on me. I called back 4 more times and no answer. VERY RUDE! Then I walk in, it’s NOT busy and I notice one of your employees WATCHING A GAME ON HIS PHONE! Seems like the employees here need to be RE-TRAINED on customer service! The food is great but it’s unfair that I have to use 15-20 minutes of my lunch break to WAIT on my food when I called ahead a total of 7 times with the employees IGNORING the phone and HANGING UP on people! I like this place so I’m pissed about this experience today. Get it together or hire new staff!

We enjoyed almost everything here: the food, the service and the atmosphere. I ordered the chow fun noodles with tofu and it was impressively good. I'm glad they served our food in boxes because of the generous portions. The staff was friendly and the decor as a mix of blade runner and anime.
My minor nitpick was the restroom. It was dark (as in lighting) and the toilet... Well it tried to flush.

I hate them they left my entire order off the doordash and I haven’t eaten all day. And they wouldn’t even help me on the phone
It could be little better noodles but overall tasted good. I wish we could get an entree with lo mein noodles.. clean environment is a bonus!

Overall, the food was great. I would say it’s a little bit overpriced, but I would say it’s worth it. The service was phenomenal. Definitely wouldn’t mind returning. On the downside I would say that the interior was a bit underwhelming compared to their Instagram profile and what I was expecting when I walked in. It’s also very small and the AC appeared to be broken so it wasn’t a good environment to sit down and dine in.The customer service was phenomenal and the food was ready when I arrived, which is always a great thing.

I have been to Rice Box over ten times and the shrimp fried rice is the only thing worth coming back for. Everything else I have tried, from orange chicken to walnut shrimp, has been disappointing. The meat often tastes old or comes in odd, inedible chunks. Even the wonton soup falls flat. The food looks great but the flavor is not there. Friendly staff, but Panda Express tastes better and costs less.

The first time I went the food was good. Yesterday, not so much. Kung Pao chicken was mostly bell pepper with cheap cuts of dark meat that was greasy and rubbery. The sauce was bland without a hint of heat and they were stingy with the peanuts. Eggrolls were grocery store quality, frozen and quite frankly sucked.

BLAND. ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR. Food for seniors. How can you have everything right? (Atmosphere, marketing, ambiance, value) but the one thing that sells IS the authentic chinese flavor. Very disappointed! The food looks great on pics, but it’s just coloring. With this economy you don’t want to spend your hard earned money here. The .50c noodle cups have more flavor than this. Trust me y’all, I’ve had real chinese food from NY. (Owner please get a real chef! You got everything else right)
