I always have fun here and most of the patrons are really nice. Not keen on the food. Ordered the fried mushrooms and couldn't eat them (tasted like really old grease, yuck!) The bartenders are fun and will definitely make you laugh!

I've never had a good experience here. The drinks are never charged correctly and it smells like mercaptans (natural gas) in the front room bad enough to give me a headache. There have been police here a few times I have come. I'm not planning on going back.

As a fan of neighborhood bars, this place checks all the boxes. The kitchen is quite accommodating. Want a breakfast burrito at 2pm? No problem. The waitstaff is super friendly and will spend a little time even if the place is a little busy. Unlike a lot of neighborhood bars it's not cliquish at all. Definitely on the high rotation list.

The drinks were great, the food was highly priced ($16) for this
This place bragged about giving my alcoholic father so many drinks until he fell into a brush unable to function and admitted to laughing at it. He died shortly after. This place does not care about how many drinks they give you since it makes them money. It’s illegal and so extremely dangerous, I don’t know how this place is still open.
Omg the smoke is horrible! I understand allowing smokers but dear God make some
Ventilation!!! I thought I was going to develop lung cancer sitting there!!!

Friendly staff and pretty good bar food. Burgers are okay, chicken fried chicken was pretty good.
I have watched this bar change hands so many times I stopped learning the name of the place years ago. But the thirsty Texan has been around long enough for me to learn the names and I wanted to take a second to really give it credit for not only how they have cleaned up the place but the clientele is different and the bartenders are next level.
I don’t drink so going into a bar is usually an expensive (I mean, let’s be real who wants to pay five dollars for a soda) loud obnoxious, and pretty boring event for me that I get roped into for events like birthdays, or such celebrations. The last couple of times I’ve been into the thirsty Texas. They have been just a blast. The music is good, there’s pizza next-door, and the bartenders are a lot of fun. There is a little outdoor patio in the back in case you need to have a conversation where you want to hear yourself or someone else. Overall, I gotta give this place two thumbs up.
Friendly place
