Terrible experience with The Ultimate Kitchen food truck at TSU Homecoming on October 17, 2025. I ordered brisket loaded fries and waited over 44 minutes, only to be told they ran out. Instead of offering a refund, they gave me buffalo tenders I didn’t ask for and refused to make it right. I watched customers who ordered after me get their food first, and the attitude from the staff was unprofessional. If you can’t serve what’s on your menu or respect people’s money, you shouldn’t be running a food truck. Never again.

Interesting spot. Cool vibe. Cute and sweet waitress. Food prices are high for the quality/what you get. Loaded Oxtail Fries was a good and unique choice and priced well. Huge portion and tasty. Only criticism was too much BBQ sauce. Waffle Burger was sub par. Low-quality meat, hard-fried egg, dry. Not a $20 burger. Also, 20% gratuity is included and not mentioned. Itemized receipt should still be standard, and waitstaff should always let customers know that tip is included. Most likely would not return unless it was to sip on some frozen drinks, which weren't available for our visit.

We didn't order food due to seeing a lil friend crawling. Lord knows I'm scared of roaches and I know the difference in my roaches. This one had a family some where he hadn't just followed someone in, him and is family lived there.

Great Experience, Great Ppl, Excellent Drinkz, Staff Real Professional & Nice

The food I had was good however, I do have some constructive criticism. I wish they dedicated one day (or a certain time of the day where there is no loud music). Music was way too loud & we went at 12:00pm. We could barely hear our server & I couldn’t hear myself talking to my significant other or enjoying my food. Every black business doesn’t have to be a club vibe all the time. Sometimes, we just want a calm environment & good eats. I much rather just order to-go going forward. Otherwise the food was great.

This experience felt like a scam. I was charged a 50% gratuity by a server named Miriah, which was never communicated beforehand. The restaurant advertised an all-day happy hour, but the server claimed it ended at 3 PM—even though the special was posted on Instagram after that time.

The service was extremely disappointing. The server never checked on our table, and I received my food nearly 30 minutes after everyone else at my table had been served. Overall, it was not worth the time or money.

Best customer service honestly! Iyanna was very attentive. The customer service made up for other areas lacked. Still a great vibe.

The chicken was like eating chicken jerky. The fries were so salty I feel like I ate a pound of salt. The food truck didn’t have anything on the menu other than chicken and fries. The sauce was bottled.

6/8/25.I purchased the catfish and fries. The catfish was dark and tasted like old oil. The fries were seasoned and salty. They should change the oil regularly and let people know that they add season salt to the fries. I don't like seasoned fries. The tarter sauce was too sweet. $16 dollar order came up to $20 and change because of the gratuity they add to your bill. I will not be returning. The food and extra fees are not worth the trip. Our waitress was Great!
