My boyfriend and I dined at the Derby location tonight and it was amazing! The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff was very kind and helpful. We will be back!

We dined at Waffle Bus in Derby, KS and the place was packed and the line moved quick. Service was great and food was delicious. We ordered so much food and the workers came by periodically to help us clear our table of items we were finished with. Great experience! And great food!

Well we tried the Waffle Bus in Derby Ks tonight - Ordered a regular chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, an order of coleslaw, and an order of waffle fries with 2 drinks. Didn't get the coleslaw and the waffle fries were very tough and chewy. They don't take cash and then charged us to use a card. It was a little over $30.00

Arrived to a PACKED inside. It was good but they definitely need to have a new system in place that announces your order number when ready. All they have is a woman yelling the name and order number. It’s too loud and crowded in there for that. And what about if you’re on the patio waiting? You have to keep going to the front to ask and listen and there isn’t enough room in there standing around waiting to hear a faint voice in a crowd. At least get a microphone. No one is walking around cleaning tables. I grabbed the towel and spray myself to clean my table. A nice worker saw me and came to take over. Be prepared to search for parking. I lucked up but it was a full lot due to a shared lot for other businesses.

It was delicious. Loved all the sauces they had and the whole entire idea. They had a whole lot more than just waffles there too, which was cool, but I was looking forward to more savory waffle options that they didn’t really have. The music is a little loud & dancey for a Sunday morning but I could just be old. lol waffle life

7-31-24 The food, environment and service is a 10/10. If you’re looking for something new with a unique and authentic taste this is the place to be for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even a snack. Definitely recommend and will be back again.

Went to finally try the famous Waffle Bus and I was honestly sad. The place really didn't have customer service since the only interaction you get is when you go pick up your food when they call your number. We got burgers, thunder fries, seasoned fries, and their milkshakes.
Honestly, the only thing really worth going for there, is the waffle fries. The thunder fries were such an amazing blend of flavors ? very well done.
Burgers however were meh. Nothing special.
The shakes were just a No. They tasted soooo artificial and freezer burnt. We ordered 3 different ones and added different things to it but it didn't taste well for any one of us. Idk if it's just this location but we sadly, didn't enjoy the food here. Not worth the money for us but might give the chicken sandwiches a try but at another location.
The area is pretty though.

Very unsafe drivers for their Waffle Bus. Driver is either distracted or intoxicated. Pulled out of their parking lot not paying any attention and nearly t-boned me had I not slammed on my brakes. Their management could care less when I called them. Very unsafe company and procedures.
