Quiet, small and u incorporated great barbecue joint near NorthlinE. If you need a suggestion, get the 2 chicken quartes, potatoes and beans with bread and sweet tea. You will NOT regret it. All that is only $12.21! G=eat food, excellent service and a quiet diner with barbecue. What more could a man ask for?

The customer service was excellent, clean atmosphere but the food was not good.
It's okay. I ordered a beef meat plate with potatoe salad and black eye peas. The peas were the best thing on the plate. The meat was good and tender. Had a hefty amount of fat to meat ratio. The potatoes were strong with mustard. My girlfriend had a rib plate with cabbage and some type of dirty rice. The rice was so very sexy. Neither of us could eat it. But the flavor in general was there. The cabbage lacked in flavor. I was told the ribs had a smoky flavor and were okay. The store was in a Vietnamese style and was a bit over priced on daily specials at they were the same as a while played with sides.

Many places no longer offer a rib sandwich. Don't trust them. Make sure to get your pickles , onions , and some sauce for the deliciousness.

Iam a native Houstonian and just return after 2 yrs and the service sucks,before friendly, kind, loving, and home friendly, now rude barbeque sauce is watered down and not the same flavor. Thomas's was the thing back in the day and I am 63 yrs old. You can't use the restroom until you pay for your meal(what) and just rude. I think they boil the ribs and no flavor. I want the old school back.
