Whether you dash your food or dine in, the food is absolutely delicious ?!!! My favorite are the pupusas (all of them, fajita, revuelta, been and cheese). The platano frito and frijoles with crema is also super tasty!! The ambience at Rio Lempa is like sitting at a little restaurant in El Salvador with all of the Salvadorean brands and items. The drinks are also little taste of El Salvador with traditional aguas. Love this place! Everyone that I've ordered pupusas for, loves...
The pupusas are very cheesy and always hot which is good but in my opinion a little MORE chicharron would be useful and would go a long way. I ordered 2 pupusas mixed and I got 2 ice creams it was 14 dollars . I rated 3 stars because it seems a bit ridiculous for 2 pupusas and 2 ice creams . I opened the ice creams and they were already melted and had the yellowish sugar glaze all over them .my guess is they have been there from when the hurricane came by and got refrozen besides...
