There's always a long line or you need to wait for 1 or 2 hours to get a table. Is a long wait just for a table outside or inside.
The food is ok.
Nothings marvelous or amazing.
I think everyone can find a similar place just to seat outside to eat.

I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the fried green tomatoes I ate here, which is unfortunate considering it’s the only time I’ve eaten here out of the five times I’ve tried to. It truly feels like a secret society I’m not part of: if you try to go at lunch, you won’t be able to find parking; if you try to miss the lunch rush and go before dinner, you won’t be able to order from the full menu; and if you’re in the office on Monday, they’re closed. I don’t have it in me to try and fail to eat here again.

Not sure the waitress really listened to our son when he asked for a plain burger with ketchup … he got a monster cheese burger with all kinds of stuff on it that would make an adult happy but a 9 year old wince in fear.
Respectfully he ate it - well 1/3 of it, before we knew what had happened so we didn’t feel comfortable asking for a do- over… however, the point is - listen to the guest when they order something. Even if it’s a child.
It was busy - like crazy busy - but I can’t understand all the hype? Seems over priced and over blown with hype for a lunch / brunch? But the place was packed full of loyal people wanting to be seen… maybe we just aren’t the target clientele…
I don’t “get it”… nice place - but felt way over priced for the casual lunch and “chain restaurant” level service.
Oh! And forget about parking anywhere close to the place - busy and hectic parking lot forced a 3 block away parking spot.

Absolutely terrible experience. The service alone is enough to make sure I never step foot in this place again. The girl at the bar was beyond rude and incredibly unprofessional. She flat-out lied and accused me of taking pictures of her which NEVER happened. Instead of doing her job, she chose to make false accusations and create an uncomfortable, hostile and Toxic situation for no reason.
Customer service clearly does not exist here. If this is how they treat paying customers, it says a lot about how poorly this place is run.
And let’s talk about the parking because wow. HORRIBLE. There’s barely any parking at all, so good luck even getting inside without already being annoyed. Between the awful service, the unnecessary attitude, and the parking disaster, this place is just not worth the headache.
Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are plenty of other places that actually value their customers.

One of the most unique dining experiences in Houston. Go on a beautiful day and enjoy the flora!
Loved this place, the food was excellent and the garden was very nice. Highly recommend!

Ate there today for a Christmas Eve brunch. The vibe and nursery were good along with the pastries but everything else was terrible. DON'T order the Grains & Things - I think there was something that was rancid and it was horrible. I told the server that since my sister and I both ordered it and he said he'd check with the manager to see what he could do but all he did was give us three cookies and never offered to swap it out. We literally left two plates full on the table when we left.
After so many years of being a patron (nearly 17 years!) I keep getting disappointed one time after the other. Their hostesses are amazing so are the bar staff but majority of the rest of the waiting staff (with one exception) are rude or apathetic and give the vibe of entitlement. The fries are soggy and if I ask for low salt I still get very salty food. Overall I’ve had four disappointing experiences back to back.

One of my favorite places in H-town for brunch! I suggest you come a little earlier or later than lunch time otherwise you will stay in the line. Exceptional service.
