We came from North Texas and wanted to eat at one of the Filipino restaurants in Houston. The hotel staff where we stayed recommended this place. This restaurant is inside HEB. My husband and I tried the breakfast menu. It says, All Day Pinoy Breakfast with a picture of garlic rice. When our breakfast was called, it was ready, but I noticed that the rice had no garlic. The staff said that there was no more rice with garlic. I said, it says, All Day Pinoy Breakfast and pointed to the picture of the rice with garlic. The staff did not even apologize because there was no more garlic rice, and she continued to ignore me. We tried eating there anyway. While we were eating, I noticed that in a corner of the restaurant where we were eating, there were many piles of boxes for their supplies. In short, the ambiance is not great if you are looking for a nice-looking place to eat. I heard, and saw on Google, that there are other Filipino restaurants in Houston. I will try those and not go back, and recommend this restaurant to others until they improve the service and ambiance.

The ladies that serve here are so attentive. They ask and make sure the food you get served is proper before you pay. This, coupled with the taste, just gives you an authentic Filipino food experience. And their halohalo is so nice, especially during the Texan summer heat.

I was visiting town and I was surprised to find a local Filipino restaurant inside a HEB store. I got Dinuguan, pork adobo with rice to go. The worker doesn’t speak Tagalog but she knows what item you wanted. Great portions amount. Small dining area.

I've always passed by it whenever I'm at HEB but I never stopped to dine in. Today I saw it on Doordash & decided to order for a pickup. The food was on time & I got to stroll the restaurant to see what other foods they had & they had a variety! I will definitely have to dine in next time!
The food was delicious, loved it. Lumpias was so tasty and everything was still piping hot when I got home. I wished I had known to come in & eat here more after all these years.
Food is amazing! I have to say this place and Max's is my goto for Filipino food!!!
