Honestly the chips and guac had me sold! But the drinks were amazing, the truffle quesadilla is a must, and the street corn was delicious! Our waitress was the absolute best! She took great care of us! 100/10 experience!!
Me and my boyfriend went for his 21st, and it was hands down amazing! Our server Christina was amazing, and made it special!
This place never disappoints. Fire shows, DJ, awesome drinks, and great food. What more can you ask for?
Waiter needs to learn when to talk and when not to interrupt the table. He did this on numerous occasions.
Best experience ever. Service was great. Food was top notch. However, it sounds like the place was overcrowded at the entryway. Not sure due to overbooking or something. Then caused the place to be very loud snd could not enjoy my birthday dinner with my girlfriend. But will come again on a slow and quiet night if there is ever one.
Our service was delayed between courses. While she was very nice and attentive when she was at our table, we had to flag our server down. The wine pours were so small for the value. It was about a 1/4 glass. The food was good, but the music was so loud, we could not hear our conversations at our table without speaking loudly. Overall, very expensive for the experience and value.
They made us wait one hour past our reservation but did give us free drinks to make up for it
The design of the place is really moody, tropical and just cool. Its got like a vegas jungle feel. Unfortunately, the tables are packed pretty close together for a fancy steak house, so its not as romantic as other places and the staff was talking so loud to eachother right next to us, which killed the vibe. The food was decent. Truffle quesadialla was really just mushrooms and cheese in a premade tortiallla quesadilla. I have had better ones from cheap authentic places. Then the steak cap we ordered we were told was a ribeye cap, but we found out, it was not, just a sirloin cap. Very pricey for sirloin. I honestly would stick to none steak items and save getting steaks at a real steak house.
We had a great experience at Toca Madera, it was our first time there but we loved the food and the servers were so friendly and professional.
Service and atmosphere were great! Everyone from the valet to the check in hostesses to the server/waiters were all very nice and welcoming. I had a non-alcoholic beverage which was good. The food however was a bit disappointing. It really lacked flavor and depth. The salmon was cooked to perfection but just lack flavor. The truffle fries tasted and looked like the frozen curly fries out of the freezer section in the grocery store, not fresh at all. The chicken was just ok, again lacking flavor. The best thing I had were the brussel sprouts and chips and salsa. The food taste and quality didn't reflect the prices. Overall I would recommend Toca Madera for the experience but the food needs major improvement.

I arrived without a reservation and was initially told there were no tables available and no chance of getting one that night. While standing there, I checked OpenTable and saw several reservations available for the same evening. When I mentioned this, I was told to go ahead and book one. To secure the table, I was asked to make the reservation on the spot and provide my credit card, which I did. The rest of the dining experience itself was fine. At the end of dinner, a manager came by to check in. I explained what had happened at the host stand, and she told me that they don't take reservations through OpenTable and use a different system, which was confusing—especially since my OpenTable reservation was clearly confirmed and required a credit card. She even asked to take a screenshot of my reservation. Overall, the food and ambiance were good, but the reservation process was confusing and inconsistent. Clear communication at the front would really improve the experience
Great food, great ambiance , waited for an hour even after having a reservation at 9:15pm. Had us seated at 10:30pm celebrating a birthday party.
Food and service was great. However, tables were very close together and noise level was extreme. In addition to a room full of diners, there are speakers mounted every few feet along the wall blaring music, so everybody has to try and talk over the music which just makes everything louder.
Went to toca madera to celebrate my birthday with my son and wife , the place looked amazing service was ok, food was amazing except for the tres leches French toast . Was dry . Wish they would have send ice cream or something for my birthday.
Booked a reservation for 10pm. Did not get seated until around 11:20 pm. I feel as the reservation situation needs to get fixed, fixing the flow of the restaurant. Besides that the actual food & service was great. Ambiance was really something special.
